Chrissy~Thats what I'm here for. Now how should I sneak you out? Any ideas? You could climb out of the window...

"The window?" Janet asked doubtfully. "No way."

Chrissy~How about I tell them that I want to show them something in my bedroom, and then when were in there you can walk right out of the door and you'll be free from dirty old men stairing at your behind.

Janet couldn't but laugh at the 'dirty old men staring at your behind'. "Alright, Chrissy. Just hope they stay in there long enough for me to 'escape'."

Stanley: Oh Helen! I didn't mean to upset her! I don't know why I did it...I'm not a sex fiend, honest!

Helen: Sometimes I wish you were...

Stanley: Oh, fit in one of your stupid remarks like always, Helen! You know, if I were a sex fiend, I wouldn't be looking at Jaent...I'd be looking at Chrissy! *pauses* Er, that didn't come out right...

Chrissy~That is pretty funny when you think about it. Okay, I'm going out there. Good luck. (Salutes her best friend and walks out of the kitchen to approach the Ropers.)

Janet quickly rushed out of the apartment, grabbing her purse as she went out the door.

Helen: I heard someone in the living room! Maybe it's Janet?

Helen opens the door. She enters and notices Janet's purse is missing.

Helen: Oh my goodness! Someone took Janet's purse! You've been *gasps* robbed!

Chrissy~Uh, no we have not. That was um, um, the paper boy! We forgot to give him money for his deliveries and when we forget he just takes our purses. Don't worry, the purse will be back soon.

Not long after she left the apartment, Janet arrived at the Reagle Beagle, sitting at a booth with two glasses of white wine as she waited for Chrissy's call.

The Ropers leave the apartment and begin to go to The Regal Beagle.

Chrissy~Janet what are we going to do? The Ropers will probably come down here!

"They'll most likely be expecting you here, so I'll hide out in the bathroom for a few minutes?" Janet asked, quickly glancing over at the entrance door.

Chrissy~Good thinking! But leave your purse so I can say I found it!

Helen and Stanley enter. Helen glances around and sees Chrissy.

Helen: Did you call, Chrissy?

Chrissy~I didn't have to. I found the little paper boy here with the purse. (Waves purse in the air.) Everything is okay.

Janet quickly darted into the bathroom.

Helen begins to walk to the restroom.

Janet locked herself in a stall, biting her lip as she waited for the time to pass.

As a woman comes running out of a stall, Helen wonders what's going on.

Helen: Excuse me...but why did you run from that stall?

Woman: Oh! The sewage is backing up...it's filling up all the stalls!

Helen: Eww...that's disgusting!

"Oh crap..." Janet murmered, having recognized Mrs. Roper's voice. She would stay in her stall a few seconds or so longer, until Mrs. Roper left, then she'd be 'free'.

Helen comes out of the bathroom. She is drenched in sewage. She had accidently fallen into it while trying to leave.

Stanley: *grabs Helen* Come on, we're leaving!

Helen: Why?

Stanley: No reason! I just want to go to bed!

Helen: *happy* Oh Stanley!

Stanley and Helen leave.

Janet soon arrived back at the apartment, out of breath.

Meanwhile, at Cheviot Hills, Stanley and Helen have returned. 'We' join them in the kitchen.

Stanley: I can't believe it! Why couldn't they talk to me?

Helen: Stanley, Stanley, it's not that big of a deal. I can make you a cup of hot cocoa! You can sip it in bed while watching the evening edition of Name that Tune, while I read the book I got at the store.

Stanley: What book is it?

Helen: The Sexy and the Sinful. It's a great book. There are a lot of hot, passionate love scenes - maybe you should read them...you might get some ideas. *winks*

Chrissy~Janet are you ok? I did the best I could to get them to leave you alone.

"Yes, I'm fine. It was just Mr. Roper I was avoiding, not Mrs. Roper. I'm not frustrated with her, or mad at her. It's just...Someone look at your behind is just about as bad as touching. I'm sure he was 'daydreaming' about it." Janet made a face at the thought, then shook her head and ran a hand through her hair slowly, sighing heavily.

Chrissy~How about I make us some tea. This has been one tough night. I wonder where Jack is?

"Alright. Tea sounds good. Jack is probably with Larry, looking at girls." Janet smiled slightly, then said, "Chrissy, you have been a big help tonight. Thank you."

Chrissy~Oh no problem Janet. I know you would do the same for me. I'm going to go change into my nighty. I'm going to make sure the blinds are closed just incase some dirty old man wants look at me. [Laughs]

Janet laughed as well. "Yeah. Wouldn't want that happening. It's not very comfortable knowing you're being watched." She smiled and went into the bathroom.

Jack: (coming through the front door with presents)I'm right heeeere!

Furley~whats going on?

Jack:I just got something for everyone because this one year ago today that we all met and I just got everyone something

Chrissy~Oh Jack! How wonderful! What did I get?

Chrissy~Well alright. It's wrapped so beautifully! (Unwraps gift.) OH JACK! A golden necklace! I love it! (Kisses him on the lips.)

Jack:I love what you gave me ;)

Jack~Oh Jack! What did you get Janet?

Jack:Why don't you open yours Janet?

Janet grinned. "Alright alright alright." She opened her present, and her grin widened. "Oh, a pair of earrings! Thank you very much, Jack!" She quickly kissed him. (if she doesn't have her ears pierced, then she does now hehe)

Chrissy~Janet we have to go out and get Jack something!

"Yeah..." Janet agreed, then a smile came to her lips. "And I have an idea what it should relate with."

Chrissy~What?

Janet mouthed the words 'Cooking'.

Chrissy~Oohh! Jack we need to discuss your gift, could you excuse us for a moment.

Janet hopped up and went off into the kitchen.

Chrissy~(Chrissy put her hands on janets back following her.) So Janet, what did you have in mind?

"I don't really know..." Janet murmered, putting her index finger on her chin, beginning to think. "It'd be a bit corny, but, a pan?" She shook her head at the idea.

Chrissy~Hmm I like that. How about an apron with his name on it?

Janet smiled. "I like that better."

Chrissy~Okay great! I cna go pick up the apron and then have Mrs. Roper sew his name on it. Shes great at doing that type of stuff!

Janet nodded. "Yeah, she is. She could probably put 'Jack the Cook', or something..."

Chrissy~Yeah! Well I'm off! Keep Jack occupied! I'll be back shortly.

"Alright." Janet said, then left the kitchen.

[runs upstairs and knocks on the door]

"I'll get it." Janet said, leaving the kitchen, walking into the living area and over to the door, opening it. "Hello, again, Mr. Furley."

Furley- I want the rent! And i want it now! So give it to me! ASAP!!!!!! [leaves]

Janet stood there for a few seconds, blinking. "O...kay." She slowly shut the door.

Chrissy~I like 'Jack the cook.'

Janet quickly went back into the kitchen. "Furley wants the rent..." She sighed.

Janet gave Chrissy a look, scurrying away from Mr. Furley.

Chrissy~What does that mean?

"Shh." Janet softly said, putting a finger to her lips quickly.

Chrissy~Oooh! Well Mr. Furley thats all of the rent.

Furley- Thank you much :) [leaves]

Chrissy~Janet what did you give him?

[downstairs- Furley puts away the money, and decides to go upstairs again]

Furley- [knocks]

no one answers so Furley leaves a note that says:

Dear kids,
I will be leaving for a little bit, I need some time to think. I dont know when I'll be back. Dont try to look for me, and Jack, fill in as landlord while I'm gone.

(Chrissy hopped out of teh shower and saw the note, she read it and immediately wanted to call Jack, but she didn't know where he was so she decided to call the Regal Beagle. She picks up the phone.)

Chrissy~Hello Mike. Is Jack there? (Mike told her no so she put the phone down and then looked for Janet in the apartment.) Janet? Where are you?

Janet slowly walked out of her and Chrissy's bedroom, a slight grin set on her lips, the tickets to the Rolling Stones(hehe) in her hand. "I'm right here...You remember that package that Mrs. Roper had given to me that was from Mr. Roper?"

Chrissy~Before you say a word. Mr. Furley has left the building and left his job to Jack. He must be really upset!

"Yeah." Janet nodded, agreeing. "He must be getting an awful lot of stress from something."

Jack:Hey girls,did Mr.Furley come for the rent because I got some money left over from the money I had to pay for the Bistro

I thought this was a free flowing dialogue where all of us 3's Company fans can continue to add lines whenever we can get online.

Otherwise we have to wait for the other person to get online if we only do assigned parts and who knows how long that might be.

I just thought if we all fill in lines whenever we get a chance doesn't that make it easier on all of us?

Janet began to busy herself by reading a book, her reading glasses perched on her nose.

Jack:Whatcha reading Janet?

"A sappy love story." Janet chuckled slightly, glancing up from her book for a quick moment.

Cindy -- (looks at the cover of the book) Romeo & Juliet? You never read that before?

Jack:Janet I gotta say that those glasses make your eyes fit your description.Nice and pretty.

Janet took her glasses off, looking down at them. "Thanks, Jack."

"He said I look like a what?" Janet looked at Cindy, then at Jack, then back to Cindy. "I don't sit around in a barn all day, eating mice!" She suddenly shuddered, standing up on the couch, as though she were expecting a mouse to appear out of nowhere.

Cindy -- Are you Ok, Janet?

Jack:I didn't say that,Larry did.I would never say that about a pretty woman like Janet.Larry was shouting Hoo Hoo and I said what are you doing?He said trying to call Janet.I was mad but didn't say anything.So I left which left Larry with the bill.

"Somebody do a moose love call or something, and see if he comes!" Janet suddenly said.
