View Full Version : How do you like your coffee
Brad Russ 12-06-2003, 07:11 AM Black, with milk and sugar, with creamer? I use to hate coffee, and rarely ever drank it, until I discovered coffee mate's French Vanilla creamer about a year ago. That stuff makes coffee so good it tastes like you're drinking an espresso or something. For anyone who's never tried it, I strongly suggest you do, it tastes great! Sometimes if I don't have any creamer left, I'll use brown sugar, but those are pretty much the only ways I'll drink coffee. How do you all like your coffee?
The Modfather 12-06-2003, 09:49 AM I drink coffee once in awhile, when I do it's black.
Penny Lane 12-06-2003, 10:27 AM I drink mine with cream.
AllIWantIsYourClutch 12-06-2003, 11:14 AM Cream (preferably that french vanilla stuff you mentioned) and sugar.

Kay Scarpetta 12-06-2003, 02:00 PM I like my coffee any way, as long as it's coffee and has caffeine in it. But when I go to Dunkin Donuts I like it with extra cream, extra sugar... Starbucks I usually get a latte or espresso..
And yes, I know caffeine is spelled wrong :p

Mijada 12-06-2003, 02:24 PM I hardly ever drink coffee but when I do I like lots of cream and sugar.
LILFACE23 12-06-2003, 02:29 PM When I drink coffee I use the flavored creamers. Like the french vanilla one you mentioned, I also like the irish cream and hazelnut. When I'm out I like to get a mocha cappuccino. Yuuuuummmyyyyyyy!!!!
Janice 12-06-2003, 02:44 PM How I like my coffee and how I drink my coffee are two different stories. I like it with cream and sugar, but it's fattening, so I use Equal and skim milk.
In restaurants, on holidays or any other special gathering, I'll use cream and sugar as a treat.
Brent88 12-06-2003, 03:36 PM I don't drink coffee.
I like it black, strong and staight up. Kind of x rated. Sorry. Hope I don't catch it for that.
;) :p

coffee is ****ing gross... tastes the same way it smells. I guess you're talking about the smell of old coffee in a used cup. Surely you can't dislike the smell of fresh ground beans or fresh brewing coffee!:stocking: :snowman:

Yum, Tim Horton's Cafe Mocha's are the best. That and their iced capaccino's. I'm not a fan of regular coffee but our school store sells these French vanilla capaccinos that I'm addicted to.
InspectorExstead 12-07-2003, 02:43 AM As long as it's coffee....I will drink it, plain, with cream, with milk, with sugar. Anyway is fine. :D

Oh yes, the Hazelnut kind is very good. That's actually the kind I have in my fridge right now. The only problem I have with coffee creamer is the price. It's kind of spendy, and usually only lasts a few days in my house. The other day I was out of creamer, so I put egg nog in my coffee. All I can say about that is: puke:
Janice 12-07-2003, 04:42 PM Does anyone know of any low or no calorie creamers? (nothing flavored)
I'm tired of skim milk in my coffee.

I'm tired of skim milk in my coffee. Meh, if I were you, I'd just go for the stuff with all the calories.
Live a little. You only live once, right?
:p

I only wish it was that simple. Because I'm not so young anymore, I have to watch the calories. If I don't, I put weight on. I'm where I want to be now, but I have to work at it.
Oh, to be young again, and be able to eat anything without consequences. That's how I was until a few years ago. ;)

I can't stand cold coffee myself. To me, drinking cold coffee is like drinking a warm Coca Cola, it's just not right. I like my coffee just under boiling. Not only do I think it tastes best that way, but it lasts alot longer too. With cold coffee, you finish it in like five minutes or less. The only problem with having coffee as hot as I like it, is that you run the risk of spilling it on yourself. And take it from someone who has done that a few times, it's not a pleasant experience!
Btw, does anyone here ever eat coffee beans? I had a couple yesterday. Talk about a caffeine buzz, sheesh!!!!! I use to love those chocolate covered coffee beans, but I can't seem to be able to find them anymore.

YES!!!!!!!! I EAT COFFEE BEANS!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmm, they sold chocolate-covered coffee beans at the local coffee shop in the last town I lived in...They had two flavors - milk chocolate & dark chocolate. :liplick: If you look hard enough - you should be able to find places that sell them. :)

It's nice to know that other people eat coffee beans as well. My whole family thinks I'm strange because I like to eat an occasional handful. They're probably right. I always make sure I have some kind of liquid with me as I'm eating them though, because I hate how the grains get stuck in your throat. Without water, it feels like you're eating sunflower seeds with the shells still on.
I'm glad they're still selling the chocolate kind. I'll have to buy some one of these days. I also want to try the vanilla ones, and the ones with chocolate covered raisins in them. Iv'e never had those before.

 Nah, don't pay any attention to 'em :D
That same coffee shop also used to sell those super-strong chocolate-covered coffee beans - but they colored the outside yellow, you know like M&M's, but they still tasted like chocolate, they were just a lot stronger. And they sold it in a bigger package - in a tube...I don't remember how big it was, tho, but it was strong and very good stuff. :liplick: Man, I miss that coffee shop...
 I know what you mean about the way they feel when you eat 'em. They didn't have vanilla-flavored ones where I used to live, so I'll have to look for that the next time I swing by a coffee shop. :)
Mmmm....Coffee...

I've spilled hot coffee on myself plenty of times and it's not fun. As for drinking it cold, I just mean that if it gets cold after a while, I'll still drink it. *addicted*
 Never ate the beans but.. I imagine it would give you a buzz for sure. I knew someone who used to do that all the time, though.
Tuesday Weld 12-11-2003, 10:42 PM I like it with cream and a sugar substitute. :D
dr frasier crane 12-13-2003, 05:47 PM I like mine black with a little sugar.
