I live about one hour away from Peekskill, it is a real city. A very nice one in fact. I don't live near any of the actors, at least I don't think I do. I live about one and a half hours away from where Nancy McKeon was born. My dad lives 45 minutes away from Lisa Whelchel.

Today I live on the other side of the hills from the Santa Clarita valley. However, back in 1983 or 84 I was at the Sherman Oaks Galleria and saw Lisa Whelchel there at the Hallmark Store. She was at the register to pay for her cards so I said, "I really like your show." As a trained Hollywood personality who must be careful at all times, Ms. Whelchel smiled, and without establishing eye contact, said "thankyou," and walked away (after paying for her purchase of course.) As she left the store, I thought to myself, "well, she has to be wary, I guess. One never knows if that next person you run into in this town is your next fan stalker." The teenage girl working at the register was dumbfounded I even had the nerve to say hello to Lisa Whelchel.
