Which one do u prefer Full House on?

Though I like it on both networks, i prefer it on Nick At Nite, because ABC Family has too many commercial breaks!!

I hate to say this because I am very disappiotned in Cosby @ Nite, but I actually perfer Full House on that station over the ABC Family's airing of Full House because like you siad Abc Family has too many commercial breaks and they starte dit it at season six...what's up with that? Overall though I perfer the ABC Family station...just not when they play FH.

ABC Family has the same amount of commericals as N@N. It's just they actually make the show 30 minutes instead of having it 27 minutes like on N@N with a break in between shows.

I like it better on ABC Family because I like the no commericals before the next show starts.

BTW: During the episodes there are scenes before the opening credits, ABC Family will take a break after the theme song and not have to force that first break in there.

I learned this from Family Matters...

They just need to cut back. Two airings a day is fine, but the 12 and 330 repeats are annoying! But, it will be that way through January...

It's overkill!

I do agree that the sudden cuts to commericals is annoying, but I still like it better on ABC Family. I just wish they didn't have an obsession with it and also wish the closing credits would be shown. I HATE SPLIT SCREENS!!!

Nick. I hate it when stations make commercial breaks in places there weren't naturally any.

Yeah, im taping some episodes for someone for Christmas (who got their cable cut, right before their favorite old show was about to get played again).. and i taped it on ABC Family, and it was aggravating because I had to press Stop then Record so many times.

One thing good about ABC Family is that they started in the later seasons. I tend to prefer the later episodes over the really early ones.

Same here. I never could get into the early episodes which is why I haven't watched it on N@N a lot.

Actually... I think Cosby Show is N@N's highest-rated show, otherwise they wouldn't air it four times between 10pm and 1am.

Yes indeed. ABC Family did had too many commercial breaks the same as the one that it was not even shown on WPIX anymore. Of course, the show had too many commercials. As for WB11, the ending was cut through the last commercial and after that, the executive producer credits came at the end of the final shot:

Executive Producer
JEFF FRANKLIN

That's the way the ending was not complete after the commercial.

I was watching full house on abc family and it cut out part of the show wondering if they do this for every episode?

Nick at Nite is better. See you can watch it with only one short break, then get up and do something and come back 5 minutes later and watch the next episode. Plus, it saves tape and lets me record the 10 10 987 commercial EVERY TIME ITS ON!

I like the no commercial between shows part too, but I don't like abc family cutting off some scenes of the show part.

I chose Nick-at-Nite only for recording purposes. Otherwise, it's both channels for just watching purposes.

ABC Family cuts off certain scenes only to cut right into a commercial when a scene finishes. I find it annoying because sometimes close clips get cut off, even if it's only 1-2 seconds, so there is no indication for us recorders who like to avoid commercials. You know how you can tell when it comes close to a commercial because of the music? Well, that's what I mean. For instance, in the episode where Michelle hides Jesse's keys while eating a popsicle in the kitchen, Michelle tells Jesse "Right here. Give me a break." Then, Jesse kisses Michelle and tells her, "Look, Michelle, Big Bird" then takes a bite of the popsicle, and ABC Family cuts into a commercial. In the Nick-at-Nite version and the original airings, after Jesse takes a bite out of the popsicle and Michelle turns to him and he raises and lowers his eyebrows and she smiles. That latter part is not shown on ABC Family.

It's not only this episode, but it's like that in nearly all the Full House episodes I have seen on ABC Family. :p

That is annoying, trust me, I have seen it too, I watch Family Matters everyday on ABC Family. 99% of the time they do that is because there is nothing before the opening credits. Normally, if there is, they take a break after the theme song then they don't have to force a break in there.

Hmmm. I hadn't really thought much about that before reading this thread. I was actually hoping that ABC Family would be better. You'd think that they'd restore scenes that have been lost for a while and play the original version of the theme song like they do for other shows on that channel.

Overall, I agree with what most people said about Nick at Nite being better, mainly because it only has one commercial break.

It seems to me that ABC Family does some very strange editting. In their airing of the first episode, the famous diaper change scene was editted out. One of the most famous scenes in series history, and they editted it out! Nick at Nite appears to show the episodes as aired on TBS.

I didn't even know they aired the first episode of "Full House" on ABC family. In fact, I haven't yet seen too many earlier eps of the show on that channel. I thought they just started from the third season. Anyway, another thing that ticks me off is that when some eps have a tag scene at the end, they edit that out.

They showed the first two episodes on December 1st at 12:00 and 3:30pm ET.

ABC Family edits all closing tags out of ALL their shows. It SUCKS!

Full House belongs on ABC Family but it doesn't belong on Nick at Nite, maybe Teen Nick or something like right after Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I'm sick of FH getting special treatment by both networks

Lately they've been showing the tag scenes for alot of shows, they don't cut them from Boy Meets World, I've seen them on Family Matters too :)

It better be. Otherwise, I don't see a reason to have them show it as much as they do.

Actually, abc family chose a couple of episodes to un-cut, including the original theme song. But they have to get those 4 minutes back, so they edit out a scene shown in syndacation.

They did this with the pilot ep. (Cuts out scene where they change Michelle's diaper).
The second season ep. "Fogged In" (Cuts out scene where Kimmy's snoring too loud).
The fifth season ep. "Happy Birthday Babies" (Part 1 only) (Cuts out scene where D.J. tells Michelle how she's got Michelle to do some tricks, and where Michelle tricks D.J.)
The fifth season ep. where Michelle learns to ride a two-wheeler (Cuts out scene where Jesse and Becky pack all of the babies things)
And the seventh season episode where D.J. falls asleep in Steve's new apartment. (I'm not sure which scene they cut out)
