I like the picture on top of this page. Just one question. Where are Mike and Alice???

Maybe Carol and Mike had just had a recent argument. Carol, in a moment of anger took the picture without Mike just to spite him. Probably his reaction was that he didn't care anyways, plus it was a bad photograph so he was extra glad not to be a part of it. The kids were too young to understand what was going on and were unaware of the parents' argument. Alice was happy to be left out of it.

Alice is in the kitchen making a meatloaf. Mike is down at the department store chewing out Santa for promising Cindy that her mommy would get her voice back.
