FOX has officially canceled "Wanda at Large." What took them so long, lol?

Here is the info:
Fox has pulled the plug on comedian Wanda Sykes' sitcom "Wanda at Large."
Writing had already been on the wall for "Wanda," which hasn't aired since Nov. 7. Fox will continue to air specials in the Friday 8 p.m. slot for the foreseeable future.

Net had already pulled the sitcom originally paired with "Wanda," the Luis Guzman starrer "Luis." Move effectively ends Fox's comedy presence on Friday, at least for now.

Season to date, "Wanda" only averaged a 1.7 rating and 6 share among adults 18-49, and attracted only 4 million viewers overall. Six episodes of the show's second season have aired.

"Wanda" starred Sykes as a standup comic who lands a job as an opinionated commentator on a Washington, D.C., TV news program. Series also starred Phil Morris, Dale Godboldo, Robert Bailey, Jurnee Smollett and Tammy Lauren.

Show came from Warner Bros. TV and Bruce Helford's Mohawk Prods.; Helford, Deborah Oppenheimer, Brian Hargrove and Jack Kenny exec produced.

LOL@Wanda's show getting cancelled hahahahahahahahahaha. I didn't know Jurnee Smollett was on the show. She played in the movie Eve's Bayou with Samuel Jackson as his daughter. She's really grown up since then.

I liked that show and thought Wanda was funny BUT I was surprised it lasted 2 season on Fox! Fox is the crappiest network around! If they offered me a show I'd pass knowing they'd screw me in a few minutes!!! Personally I bet Wanda wasn't surprised she knew that was a sh@tty network!

It's almost like FOX didn't want 'Wanda At Large' anymore so they moved it to Fridays knowing it wouldn't last.

I had a chance to watch the entire series rebroadcasted on TVOne over the summer and FOX really let a good one slide out of their hands. I am not surprised though as this network is really relying too much on reality television to bring in the ratings since their sports contracts are draining the network dry.
