The 'DJ kissing the black girl' episode? Thought provoking without being preachy or conclusive. Made me sqirm in my seat at a couple of points.

They mixed in a few good lines just to keep it hoppin'. Jackie and Rosanne in the restaraunt closing 15 minutes early. Rosanne said to Jackie, "Yeah well, we open fifteen minutes late, so, it all balances out."

I saw this last night, and it was a very good episode. It did stir some uncomfortable emotions around.

Roseanne tackled a lot of issues. After DJ's kissing show, we were on to the abortion episode.
The writing on the show is unique.

I like the episode, but no matter how you made the outcome there are many views to it...
I am not racist by any means, but I can see all the points made by Dan and Roseanne etc...

I saw on ask jeeves.com that roseanne was racist.I dont believe it.

I don't think she was racists, she had Chuck and Anne-Marie on the show that they were friends with.

I dont know if she is racist or what, and I dont care to know I am not her friend, I watch her show and thats about it.
I dont see it as being racist for not wanting to kiss a person of another race if you have never kissed anyone before. It would be overwhelming to have to understand the idea of kissing in front of others when you havent done it in private.
I have friends of different races, but I dont believe in interracial relationships but I wouldnt have a problem with my children kissing someone of another race in a school play.
Please dont mistake me for being a racist for not believing in interacial relationships, thats just a choice for me!

Roseanne is not a racist she was against it,that why she had racist issues on the show.
