Filming of season four of "The Division" is underway and new episodes will begin airing on Lifetime January 11. I spoke with our executive producer, and Tracey Needham will not be returning to the show. Apparently her story arc had ended and they decided to create a different character. That new character is Amy Jo Johnson ("Power Rangers" "Felicity") who will portray a police rookie named Stacy Newland.

How can they do that? Her story arc hasn't ended, they created a new one for her with Nate. Are we positive she's not coming back? Was it her decision or the producers? I don't think I'm gonna wanna watch the show if she's not in it. For some reason I remember someone saying over the summer that they weren't going to kill her off. It will be a real shame.

I got the email from the PR woman for The Division. So unless she thinks it's funny to depress their fans, yes it's true.

NEwayz, that pisses me off MAJORLY. I'll admit Jinny is my FAV, but lemme tell you, CD is pretty damn close. That's just stupid. Her and Nate were GREAT together, now they're ditching her for Amy Jo Johnson? Hmm...I wonder if this show's gonna get a 5th season...

It was one thing when they ditched Angela. Sure, I'm sure somewhere in the world there were SOME Angela fans. But CD is so much more popular. And not only is the fact that CD is popular a contributing factor, but really, was there really ANYONE who wasn't a CD/Nate fan?

They both got the whole initial thing going for them...and they both got shot...maybe 2 seasons from now Nate will wake up and it'll all be a dream...(if they last that long)

i never thought raina had an arc to begin with, but that is just my opinion. sorry to see cd go. i think that cd, jinny and magda were the only solid characters that show has. i am curious to see how all these new people will fit into the show, and how they will deal with cd. i hope they dont just gloss over the fact that she was shot and start the new season out of thin air!

That's a bunch of bull. Without the C.D/Nate chemsitry and Teddy, this is gonna stink. Plus Nancy is now pregnant. I say get rid of Magda, let her be shot, not C.D. Her arc wasn't up. I doubt they had even sat down and planned it out. The show won't be nearly as good without C.D. It'll be a struggle to watch.

Clearly you don't know Cat that well she would never want anyone to favor her over anyone else. She can't stand that! And to say so when someone meaning Cat is hurting over a loss as you even said even though CD wasn't your fav she came close..Is clearly rude mean and cruel.

"Her story arc had ended" That just sounds like a bunch of bull to me. A lame excuse... because as long as you have a brain you can think of new things to happen. Fan-fictions are good examples. I'm talking to Cat and even off the top of her head, and hell- the numerous things I've read and written myself are 'different' storylines that had never been confronted. Especially with Nate and C.D. just getting together that was opening up a whole new playing feild.

If it was Tracey's decision to stop playing C.D. I'll respect that.

But if it's because her "Story arc had ended" that's just not OK. I just don't understand.

They'll be a void that will never be able to be filled by anyone else (ESPECIALLY not Amy Jo...) if Tracey is actually gone.

In the blerb thing for the season premiere, it says that "Raina (Taraji P. Henson) tries to adjust to her new partner." Is Amy Jo Johnson gonna be her new partner and if so, if Tracey really isn't coming back, who will be Nates partner? I can't believe they're gonna do this to us. I swear someone during the summer said CD was going to survive.

I just wanted to let you all know that I think the decision to kill off CD’s character is completely stupid. That character had a lot of depth, and could have developed in so many ways. I realize that the decision was not mine to make. However, it is my decision to watch or not watch the Division from now on. You have greatly disappointed many Tracey Needham fans. And, you have probably lost quite a few viewers due to this decision. You may not care, but the Division is the reason I started watching Lifetime at all, and this will greatly reduce my viewing of the channel if not stop it completely.

2. I seriously doubt CD has been killed off. I will be tuning in on Jan.11 to see what happens. If CD is truly gone, then I am out of there, never to watch another Lifetime drama again, and will tell Lifetime exactly that.

3.Writers, producers,et.al, LOVE to make us squirm!!! What if Tracey wanted to take some time off for something? Well, the writers could have come up with some storyline to get her out of the way for a bit, recovering from her wounds, going on undercover,etc, until the actress wanted to return. NOBODY (well, maybe soap writers) would be idiotic enough to replace Tracey Needham with someone else to play CD. I think it will be excruaciating to wait until January 11!

1. I did not make the whole thing up! Tracy Speed is the woman responsible for 'The Division' public relations, meaning press etc...

2. CD has not been killed off, Tracey did leave though, yes that is confusing.

no, that would be stupid if they did a repeat angela. i understood with teddy, since he was a major character. i'm still not okay with them doing that with angela. but, cd's been a major character for three seasons. they can't just shoot her, kill her, and have everything go great again and never mention anything. that would just ruin the storyline.

All I can say now is that I went into this show because of Nancy McKeon but CD quickly became my favorite character. TD will not be 'must see' viewing anymore for me if Tracy Needham is not on the show. Cap and Jinny will be the only reasons to tune in at all.

You f.u.c.king dumb bitches. I have been a loyal, devoted fan since the very first goddamn episode. I have always loved C.D., and then when they brought Nate along I was happy because C.D. and Nate had the potential to be an excellent couple. So I watch, desperately wishing and hoping and waiting for them to hook up. Then the writers finally give us some semblance of hope last season by having the characters START some sort of romantic relationship but before they can further pursue it, they shoot C.D. So I was f.u.c.k.ing pissed off about that for a while then I thought, "It's okay. They won't kill C.D. She and Nate will be together next season." Then they go and f.u.c.king say Tracy's story arc is done. What the hell? IT IS NOT DONE YOU MENTALLY CHALLENGED, INCOMPETENT WRITERS!!!! There was so much more for C.D., the main thing being her relationship with Nate. But no, you f.u.c.king bastards had to be pricks and take that away from us, DIDN'T YOU?! You *******s! And now you are replacing her with that ugly ass whore Power Ranger. If you are going to kill a character, don't kill C.D. Kill Raina, that dirty bitch. GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES!

ok guys, i've been 1 of those **** lifetime people ever since cd was supposedly being killed off the show. now it's just annoying. i mean, we don't know what will really happen until Jan 11. It looks pretty dismal, true, but there's no guarantee until the 11th. You look on the Lifetime website, and Tracey's gone. You look on her Current Month TV schedule, http://www.tv-now.com/stars/tneedham.html, and she's still listed as to be on there for the 4th season. True, they don't list Amy Jo Johnson on the cast list there, but the thing that makes you wonder is the fact that Tracey IS still listed. Who knows? No one does, so why don't we just wait till Jan 11, and then that night we get on here and tell everyone what we hated/loved about the premiere???????

They listed Lela for about a year after she quit. They still name David Gianopoulos every once in awhile. There is a reason to be thinking "**** Lifetime" if they feed us **** like "her story arc has ended." The only way that I'll be not mad at Lifetime is if she left willingly. I'm watching the first episode, but if they don't give us a really good explanation as to why she's gone, I'm done. If they just write her off, like they did to Lela, I'll be pissed.

Aw, damn, good point, and i was had about an inch of hope left after i read her name still there. :( :( I, too, will be glued to the TV Jan 11, and THEN if Amy Jo Johnson is a skank, I'll tell everyone I think that. If they let Tracey's character go w/o an explanation and no hope of her to ever return, I am also done. But until then......................... (come on January 11!!!)
