Who made the most memorable guest appearance on The MTM Show? I thought it was unique to have Betty Ford on the show. Besides Nancy Reagan on "Diff'rent Strokes", it is quite a rarity to see a current first lady on a sitcom.

First of all, thank you GeorgeJefferson, for getting some action going around here! :) This is a very hard question, since I love all these actors and their appearances of TMTMS. But I have to go with Nancy Walker. She owned the role of Ida!!

I also liked Betty Ford's appearance as well, with Mary not believing it was her, LOL.

They were all good guest appearances, but I had to pick Ted Bessell. I've always liked him and thought he and Mary should've married in the series.

BUT HE CHEATED ON HER!!! LOL That's all I have to say. Holly, you didn't really think I was gonna ignore that, did you? :lol:

I think if the show pursued a relationship between Mary and Ted Bessell, it would seem like "That Girl" all over again and viewers would want to see something different.
