CD stood there looking at her reflection in the moiré. IT was amazing to her what a year could bring. Last year at this time she was in the hospital because of a gunshot, now she was in this pretty white dress. She looked like an angle sent from God. Nate would be so pleased. Kate walked into the room, and asked, “You ready?”
CD looked at Kate there where no tears in her eyes. Only the happiness that one man could bring to her. “Yes,” CD said, “I couldn’t be more ready for anything in my life.”
Kate have her a hug, “Well then what are we waiting for?”
A girl about the age of seven came running in. She had on a little white dress. She was flower girl she went running to CD side, and said, “Mommy… Come on!! Daddy waiting!” Yes, you heard right the little girl had call CD mommy. It was a case that had made CD and Nate realize how much they had loved each other. Well besides the shooting. It had been their next case. One that hit to close to home for CD, it was a child abuses one. CD and Nate found the evidence that they needed against the father. The child had no other family that she could go to. CD, and Nate had fallen in love with the little girl. They wanted her. They went to everyone they knew and pulled strings, so they could have her, and they got her. Now they were one big happy family. The little girl had blonde hair and blue eyes. If, you didn’t know better you would think she really was blood of CD’s. CD leaned down, and gave her daughter a kiss. “I am ready.”
They walked out the door, and CD’s bride’s maids walked down the aisle, then Samantha and then CD had decided that she had wanted Kate to walk her down the aisle, because she was the closest she had to someone being her family. It was a moment that neither Nate nor CD would forget. Nate thought ‘she is so beautiful! They had made their own vials, Nate was first. “The day I meet you I new I was going to spend the rest of my life with you. I was in love with you from that moment. I have dreamed of you from the time that I was a kid to this moment. I finely have you, and there is no way I am going to let you go. You are my everything, my hopes my dreams and my happiness. Take my ring as the symbol of the love that I share for you, and don’t ever let it go.” CD held out her hand, and Nate put the ring on her finger.
CD Smiled, through the tears coming out of her eyes, “Damn, I promised myself that I would cry today!” Nate laughed along with everyone else. “You know..” CD started off, “I never thought after my first marriage that I would meet anyone. But then I meet you Nate Basso! You turned my life upside down, and inside out. You made me see the up side of things instead of the bad things in everything. You made me realize that there are good in people. You made me see that I could love again, not just you or Samantha, but you made me realize that I could love myself again, and no one’s been able to do that. I love you Nate Basso. And I will love you for as long as I shall live. I will love you for eternity. Please take my ring as a symbol of my love.” Nate held out his hand, and CD placed the ring on his finger.
Nate said, back to her, “I will love you for eternity too!” They both started kissing.
The Minster cleared his throat and both CD, and Nate stopped Kissing. Then the Minster said, “I pronounce you man and wife, You may kiss the bride. They both started kissing, for a long period of time. When they stopped Nate picked up their daughter, and put his other arm around CD, and they walked out of the Church. As they got out their everyone had the thing of bubbles, and they started blowing them on the happy couple they got to their limo They started kissing again…..
