Probibly shopping and visiting family. It WAS Thanksgiving weekend. It's Sunday and I thought people would be coming back by now. Oh well, let's wait a week. I'm really angry about myself for not buying a CD I really wanted today... peter may 11-30-2003, 09:05 PM oh yeah thanksgiving weekend, Forgive me i'm British so we dont get that holiday here   AgtSkye 12-01-2003, 04:24 AM Hey Ange, I was at work today and something happened that made me chuckle and think of you. Sometimes I have to look at people's driver's liscences, and so this one guy, he lives on Lowell St. <g> And I've been hanging about lately, but haven't said much, cos I've not been inspired to. Well, I'm moving on Tuesday, so next time I'm here I'll be living in a different city. Hope everyone had a great, yummy Thanksgiving. See yas. Anne Chocoholic 12-01-2003, 12:43 PM I had to work all weekend. :barf: I hear the school department in my town is currently looking for teachers aides, especially for special ed. I guess I'll give them a call later. My internship went really well. I was hoping they would be able to hire me full-time, but they can't right now. Anyway, I hope yous all had a great Thanksgiving. Good luck with Moving Day, Anne! :) AngeFaitore 12-01-2003, 01:15 PM Originally posted by AgtSkye Hey Ange, I was at work today and something happened that made me chuckle and think of you. Well, at least every town in Maine, anyway. I had a friend once who lived on a Church st. and I always told her it wasn't just Church st., she lived on Thomas Haden Church st. ! Okay, I'm not making sense... Krista2882 12-01-2003, 09:48 PM I haven't been around because of piles of homework, and boyfriend trouble. :( well, Thanksgiving was wonderful, and then it all just went downhill, starting on friday.......... Adamantium 12-02-2003, 12:28 AM I visit this board every day, I just don't have many things to post about. I haven't even seen Wings in months ... Forgive me. AgtSkye 12-02-2003, 03:27 AM Thanks Kristen. And Krista I hope things start getting better for you. Forgive me. I'm kinda getting bored with Nick @ Nite. I do watch my 'Wings' tapes once in a while. Outside of WE, I never watch 'Ned and Stacey' on tape anymore because I've repeated so much of it over the past three years. My current obsession is the 'Harry Potter' movies that are shown at sometime almost everyday on the multi-HBO east/west channels. Let me tell you, I've seen enough of Professor Snape and Gilderoy Lockhart to last me a lifetime. BTW, about WE, does it seem like they barely show any actual programming? Most of WE is made up of infomercials. From around 11:00PM or 1:00AM to 11:00AM they show NOTHING!!! As for the store customers ... I went into that job thinking I was so weird. But now that I've seen all those people come through the store, I realize I don't have anything on them. ;) Chocoholic 12-03-2003, 01:04 PM We can also watch "NewsRadio", "Taxi" and "Andy Richter ..." Yup. Those are also really funny sitcoms  As for the store customers ... I went into that job thinking I was so weird. You seem like a really nice guy. :) For some reason, you remind me of Antonio. Not that that's a bad thing, of course! :D Adamantium 12-03-2003, 06:26 PM Originally posted by Snoopy Yup. Not that that's a bad thing, of course! :D I find that I can't be mean to others. For the few times when I get an attitude with someone, I feel guilty for a long time. I'm very nervous around people, and sometimes I feel more comfortable just acting weird. And I am alot like Antonio, except of course, for being Italian.;) Chocoholic 12-04-2003, 01:36 PM Originally posted by TVAdam I find that I can't be mean to others. And I am alot like Antonio, except of course, for being Italian.;) I'm like that too. I find it hard to be mean or develop an attitude to others, even when that person really deserves it, like a rude customer (although I've put a few people in their place, like that cat breeder and the woman who was rude to me about my disabilities). I'm also a lot like Antonio. He's generally a good guy to be like! :D He just needs to find someone who loves him for the sweet guy he is. :) Janice 12-04-2003, 01:59 PM I watched the retrospective show on Joe and Helen's history--the video that Brian made for them. I love that episode, and it allowed my husband to really 'catch up' so to speak. I'm trying to get him into Wings, and it's just starting to hook him after about two weeks although he hasn't admitted it yet. I was wondering about the scene with Antonio playing the Maitre de or waiter....Helen waiting for Joe in a fancy restaurant. The scene was hilarious, but made me wonder if Tony Shalhoub was written as Antonio after that. That happens often--an actor does so well that he's brought on as a new permanent character. Details please. :) Krista2882 12-04-2003, 02:13 PM Originally posted by TVAdam I find that I can't be mean to others. Yup, that's what happened. Great move, in my opinion. Antonio really added a lot to the show. Not that it wasn't a great show before, of course! mudshark82 12-04-2003, 04:36 PM antonio was great, once he came aboard the cast was perfect. then when they started getting new redheads and mechanics it messed everything up. |
