Did anybody else put their trees and decorations up today? I did this morning :-D It was fun... I'm a lot more into the Christmas spirit this year than last. My hands are sore from bending the limbs on the fake tree though. It'd be 10xs worse if it was real!

No, we usually get ours around the 10th or so.. probably next week or week after. We always get a real one, and this year its gonna be a lil rinky dinky one since we'll be moving in like, a month.:o

We usually don't do that stuff until a few weeks before Christmas...which is...soon anyway. But,yeah, we didn't do them yet. I can't wait till we do :tree: :D

My kid wants to do it today but I really really REALLY dont want to. I'm having to make myself feel like I want to. Maybe tomorrow...

That's when we put our tree and stuff up too. My parents never do it right after Thanksgiving.

I've put up a few decorations but not the tree yet. It's such a pain dragging all that stuff up from the basement.

Nah, we do it closer to Xmas Eve.... like a few days before.

We're doing it today....oh boy.

It's almost all done at my house. When I woke up and went downstairs the tree was all set up and most of the decorations were put in their usual places. The tree has yet to be decorated, though.

I don't think we are going to put ours up for a couple more weeks.

I put my tree up today. I wanted to do it last weekend but my husband wouldn't let me :(

Yep, we did that today. But we bought a new one so I didnt have to drag it down from the attic, like usual.

Like 1 week before Christmas, that way i'm not sick of looking at it once Christmas arrives. :)

When we put a tree up it's always on Christmas Eve at the last minute before we go to church. Last year we didn't put it up instead all the presents were under a nativity set, and I think that's what we're doing this year too.

My Mom works at a parish rectory where the preist lives and he puts his up a few weeks before and doesn't take it down 'til May, it's fake BTW.
One year my Mom put hearts on it for Valentine's Day, that year he took it down as she was cutting out the Shamrocks, but May is the latest it's been up so far.

My family did it this past Friday and lucky me, I took a long nap all the way through it. I hate decorating for Christmas because we simply have too much crap.

Im putting mine up tomorrow maybe. I like putting up the tree, except when i break an ornament ball.

Not yet. Actually I don't know what we're doing for a tree this year. We've always had a real tree in our house (I hate artificial trees) until 2 years ago we got one and it was also the first year we had a cat in the house. Well, of course, the kitty had to always drink the tree water. We tried everything (bitter apple spray, covering it with a sheet) and she still kept drinking it. Well, in January she got VERY sick for a few weeks and we think it was because of the tree water. Well, now we can never get a real tree again, but that's ok, because I was very scared when she was so sick. We'll probably buy one of those trees with the lights already on it. That'll save a lot of time with decorating.

My tree and decorate is already up, we always put it up on Thanksgiving day.

We don't put ours up until the middle of December. I don't even think we're putting it up this year though.
