The day after Thanksgiving was a bummer. First I had to work, then at work we were told it would probably be a half day. Well I ended up working 8 hours. We were a crabby bunch. The positive side is, at least I have a job.

I'm stupid. I apparently am not fast enough for anyone, people think im "slow" in the head cause i dont really talk to anyone and i dont like going places they think im "awkward", and im too stupid to pass anything at school. my dad yells at everything I do, and its really starting to get on my nerves. my mom doesnt even know why he gets mad anymore. Im totally screwed to cause if my parents find out about me being gay then they just might kill me. i mean i cant keep it a secret forever, sooner or later they are gonna find out. well thats my complaints.

And while I'm over here... today has given me plenty to yell about. I was just about to head home from work when I noticed that a couple of DART trains were backed up waiting to get in the station. I just thought, "OK, this is weird," and hopped the first Blue Liner that rolled in. Well, the word came down the track that they were having electrical problems with the tracks at Mockingbird Station. By this time, my train was stuck in Cityplace Tunnel, 250 feet below street level, for about an hour waiting for the problem at the next station to clear. When we FINALLY got to Mockingbird, there was practically no power: no lights, no elevator, no nothing. I don't know how they got that train moving, but my pet theory is that somebody got out and pushed. :p Anyway, I finally trudged into my home station 90 minutes late only to hear on the radio that the problem was ... bum-bah-dum ... a computer glitch.

I sincerely hope DART fixes said glitch by tomorrow morning or else they're getting an angry letter from your truly...:cuss:

God I hate my family.

My mom wants Rod Stewart tickets and they went on sale at 10:00 so she had me look online and her and my dad went to Carson's to get em...If I found good ones online I was supposed to order them. So she kept calling me and found her some and she told me to get them. So I hung up and then realized you need a Ticketmaster account to order the tickets, so i called her back and asked her to ask my dad what his password was cuz I new he had an account....She completely snapped on me...she was all like "HOW COME YOU CANT DO THIS ONE THING FOR ME BUT WHEN YOU WANT TICKETS WERE SUPPOSED TO RUN RIGHT OUT AND GET THEM?" and I'm trying to explain to her that you need an account and I needed his password but she wouldnt listen to me and shes all like "Nevermind! I don't need tickets!" and I'm just like "ASK HIM WHAT HIS PASSWORD IS!" and she says "NO!" and hangs up on me.

Now I'm sitting here like....hysterical. My grandma is trying to find out whats wrong and I'm screaming at her.

Okay, so I'm looking at my grades in my classes (with finals all next week) and I realize that I'm just about an inch short of failing my political philosophy class because of all my absences. So, I go into office hours to speak with my prof, and he says, don't worry, you can make them up. Okay, how? He says, for each absence I have to write a three page paper (that's four absences) and then for them to count I also need to write an additional eight page paper, due at the end of next week. So, to recap: five papers and four finals next week. I am going to die.  :( Well, it was nice knowing all of ya

One of my pet peeves has always been people who don't listen to me. I've had teachers who wouldn't listen to me back when I was in elementary school and middle school. They wouldn't hear my side of the issue and they just plain wouldn't listen to me. When I went to a private school, it was a godsend in that category. I feel like telling one of my old unpleasant unreceptive teachers, "At least I went to a school where the teachers and staff members actually listened to their students."

Well, not too long ago, I spilled HOT coffee on myself. My jeans, shirt, the chair. It wasn't very pleasant...This Christmas season is killing me! I am sad. My mom and I have no extra money for presents or anything. Our family pretty much dumped us too. Then, at work they play Christmas songs all day long & the store is all decorated when last year they didn't put out one decoration. It's just rubbing it in! Well, I've whined enough.

My dad told me that one time in the car when I was seven or eight. Somehow, I really don't know how it slipped out, but I told him to go to hell. It scared me that I said it b/c he was a big man and I thought he would hurt me, but it shocked him more that I said something and stuck up for myself.

Ugh...I hear ya...the 1st sem. of the last school year, it was only me and one other boy in my grade that were seniors in a class full of sophomores and juniors...Then the 2nd semester, the boy got kicked out of my class, so I was the only senior...Ugh, it was really embarrassing. I have to memorize this for my audition...well, just the Jack lines...blah. And auditions are this Monday...at 2:40, lovely

Lady Bracknell. [Sitting down.] You can take a seat, Mr. Worthing.

[Looks in her pocket for note-book and pencil.]

Jack. Thank you, Lady Bracknell, I prefer standing.

Lady Bracknell. [Pencil and note-book in hand.] I feel bound to tell you that you are not down on my list of eligible young men, although I have the same list as the dear Duchess of Bolton has. We work together, in fact. However, I am quite ready to enter your name, should your answers be what a really affectionate mother requires. Do you smoke?

Jack. Well, yes, I must admit I smoke.

Lady Bracknell. I am glad to hear it. A man should always have an occupation of some kind. There are far too many idle men in London as it is. How old are you?

Jack. Twenty-nine.

Lady Bracknell. A very good age to be married at. I have always been of opinion that a man who desires to get married should know either everything or nothing. Which do you know?

Jack. [After some hesitation.] I know nothing, Lady Bracknell.

Lady Bracknell. I am pleased to hear it. I do not approve of anything that tampers with natural ignorance. Ignorance is like a delicate exotic fruit; touch it and the bloom is gone. The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately in England, at any rate, education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square. What is your income?

Jack. Between seven and eight thousand a year.

Lady Bracknell. [Makes a note in her book.] In land, or in investments?

Jack. In investments, chiefly.

Lady Bracknell. That is satisfactory. What between the duties expected of one during one’s lifetime, and the duties exacted from one after one’s death, land has ceased to be either a profit or a pleasure. It gives one position, and prevents one from keeping it up. That’s all that can be said about land.

Jack. I have a country house with some land, of course, attached to it, about fifteen hundred acres, I believe; but I don’t depend on that for my real income. In fact, as far as I can make out, the poachers are the only people who make anything out of it.

Lady Bracknell. A country house! How many bedrooms? Well, that point can be cleared up afterwards. You have a town house, I hope? A girl with a simple, unspoiled nature, like Gwendolen, could hardly be expected to reside in the country.

Jack. Well, I own a house in Belgrave Square, but it is let by the year to Lady Bloxham. Of course, I can get it back whenever I like, at six months’ notice.

Lady Bracknell. Lady Bloxham? I don’t know her.

Jack. Oh, she goes about very little. She is a lady considerably advanced in years.

Lady Bracknell. Ah, nowadays that is no guarantee of respectability of character. What number in Belgrave Square?

Jack. 149.

Lady Bracknell. [Shaking her head.] The unfashionable side. I thought there was something. However, that could easily be altered.

Jack. Do you mean the fashion, or the side?

Lady Bracknell. [Sternly.] Both, if necessary, I presume. What are your polities?

Jack. Well, I am afraid I really have none. I am a Liberal Unionist.

Lady Bracknell. Oh, they count as Tories. They dine with us. Or come in the evening, at any rate. Now to minor matters. Are your parents living?

Jack. I have lost both my parents.

Lady Bracknell. To lose one parent, Mr. Worthing, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness. Who was your father? He was evidently a man of some wealth. Was he born in what the Radical papers call the purple of commerce, or did he rise from the ranks of the aristocracy?

Jack. I am afraid I really don’t know. The fact is, Lady Bracknell, I said I had lost my parents. It would be nearer the truth to say that my parents seem to have lost me... I don’t actually know who I am by birth. I was... well, I was found.

Lady Bracknell. Found!

Jack. The late Mr. Thomas Cardew, an old gentleman of a very charitable and kindly disposition, found me, and gave me the name of Worthing, because he happened to have a first-class ticket for Worthing in his pocket at the time. Worthing is a place in Sussex. It is a seaside resort.

Lady Bracknell. Where did the charitable gentleman who had a first-class ticket for this seaside resort find you?

Jack. [Gravely.] In a hand-bag.

Lady Bracknell. A hand-bag?

Jack. [Very seriously.] Yes, Lady Bracknell. I was in a hand-bag - a somewhat large, black leather hand-bag, with handles to it - an ordinary hand-bag in fact.

Lady Bracknell. In what locality did this Mr. James, or Thomas, Cardew come across this ordinary hand-bag?

Jack. In the cloak-room at Victoria Station. It was given to him in mistake for his own.

Lady Bracknell. The cloak-room at Victoria Station?

Jack. Yes. The Brighton line.

Lady Bracknell. The line is immaterial. Mr. Worthing, I confess I feel somewhat bewildered by what you have just told me. To be born, or at any rate bred, in a hand-bag, whether it had handles or not, seems to me to display a contempt for the ordinary decencies of family life that reminds one of the worst excesses of the French Revolution. And I presume you know what that unfortunate movement led to? As for the particular locality in which the hand-bag was found, a cloak-room at a railway station might serve to conceal a social indiscretion - has probably, indeed, been used for that purpose before now-but it could hardly be regarded as an assured basis for a recognised position in good society.

Jack. May I ask you then what you would advise me to do? I need hardly say I would do anything in the world to ensure Gwendolen’s happiness.

Lady Bracknell. I would strongly advise you, Mr. Worthing, to try and acquire some relations as soon as possible, and to make a definite effort to produce at any rate one parent, of either sex, before the season is quite over.

Jack. Well, I don’t see how I could possibly manage to do that. I can produce the hand-bag at any moment. It is in my dressing-room at home. I really think that should satisfy you, Lady Bracknell.

Lady Bracknell. Me, sir! What has it to do with me? You can hardly imagine that I and Lord Bracknell would dream of allowing our only daughter - a girl brought up with the utmost care - to marry into a cloak-room, and form an alliance with a parcel? Good morning, Mr. Worthing!

[Lady Bracknell sweeps out in majestic indignation.]

Jack. Good morning!

Ie had this bottled in me since Mid October and if I dont get it off my chest, Im seriously going to throw a baseball throw a window. Hmm.. well I might as well start @ the beginning so it all makes sense...

*ahem*

My mother has a brother and they had not spoken since 1990 or so, but then, back in May when my grandmother got really sick, he came out of nowhere. Since then, theyve talked (although she still has a lot of resentment towards him) and such, as my Grandmother has gotten better. Well, back in the end of August, he needed a place to stay so he asked my mother. My Dad has been up in Maine since July or so working on the new house so he comes down like.. 2 times a month or so. Well, anyways, my mother said yes because he said he'd only be here for a few days. Funny how a few days turn into a few weeks. Then he went off to California to meet some chick he met off the internet. A few weeks later, we got a call saying it wasnt working out and that my mother could pick him up @ the Boston station (so nice of him to ask.. ). This was like.. the 2nd week of October. He promised her itd only be for one nite that he'd have to stay here, to get things set and stuff. I hated the idea and we both knew that one day would not be just one day! Yah.. needless to say.. he's still f-ing here. My Dad ordered him lastweek to be out my yesterday, but the apartment he will be getting wont be ready til January 1st. WTF.. funny how 1 day turned into ohh... about 2 and a half months. Im telling you these past couple months have been friggin hell for me. He pisses me off to know end without even doing anything. I complain every single nite to my mother about him and how I want the parlor back. He sleeps on the couch, so I cant even go inside late @ nite to watch my shows.. instead I have to stay out here to watch them-- where Im friggan freezing! Right now Im wearing pants, a shirt, fleece sweater, fleece robe and a skarf around my ears/head. Its too cold out here for me to stay out here all nite.. I shouldnt have to, but he has to go to work in the AM! Also, when he gets here @ like.. 630pmish or so.. he sprawls out on the couch, so if I want to sit in there, I sit on the chair. Although I want nothing to do with him, so I spend most of my time out here freezing, or up in my room. Not to mention he ruins my good food shopping skills.. :cuss: I refuse to buy food especially for him, and I buy like I always have.. but wtf.. I buy 6 loaves of bread each month, and yea we usually have to get more a few weeks in.. but I swear a loaf of bread barely makes a day. He's also said some things that have pissed me off. The nite of the AMA's.. well the Pats game was a nite game, so the AMAs were pre-empted til 1230 am. I put the TV on the lowest volume to see the first act, tape it, and then I was gonna go to bed. What does he do? Slumps off the couch, goes to the bathroom, gets a drink in the kitchen and comes back in the parlor and is like.. 'You know, I have to get up in the AM and its hard enough to sleep with the cold I have. Sorry.' WTF!! I could care less about your damn cold or you having to be up in the AM!!! Get your own damn place! Then, last Tuesday, after the Fab 5 were on, I put the Daily Show on, and he's like.. 'How long is this show???' Yah, its a half-hour. What pisses me off is that he has a job, and yet he's friggan free-loading here for nothing. I want him to get a damn hotel or motel and stay the frig there. I had never met him before in my life, and all my life I heard nothing but bad things about him from my mother because hes basically a loser. Hes been here for 2.5 months and has a job.. uhh.. I think he can find a place to stay. Hes 54 years old, and IMO, hes not me nor my mothers responsibility!!! He's had nothing to do with us, until all of a sudden he needed a place to stay. I hope when he leaves I never have to see him again, because these past few months have been friggan hell for me. He makes no point in trying to be an 'uncle' to me, nor do I really care, but still.. ya know?! Whenever I think of him and him staying here I get filled with such hatred and resentment because of the way he is. I dont like the fact that the only reason he needed us was because he needed a place to stay and the fact that he is free-loading. When I found out my Dad ordered him to be out by yesterday, I was ecstatic, but then this morning my mother told me not til January 1st. I am counting down the days and I swear if he has to stay another day longer Ill scream. That is all. :cuss: *trashes room*

I mean it isnt like Im forced to stay out here during the afternoon.. but I just feel uncomfortable around him because he never took the time to get to know me growing up and my brother feels the same way about him. Not to mention he used to live about 10 minutes away from my Grandmother and never once visited her or sent her cards for anything, which is why my mother resented him so much.. which is why I was so shocked and annoyed when I found out he'd be staying with us. It didnt make sense! In a way, I do feel bad for him, because he has to stay here with us.. he has 4 sons and none of them will take them in, so basically we're stuck with him. But c'mon.. hes a 54 year old grown man who should be responsible enough to take care of himself.. thats what gets me.. hes not a child.

You are not being selfish. He has overstayed his welcome, and is infringing upon your daily life and privacy. I would have clocked the guy by now.
My brother, whom I adore, is single. He stays with me for a few days here and there. He did for Thanksgiving, and he will for Christmas. We watch movies, play Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit, eat, gossip, laugh, look at family photos, etc.
Yet, after a few days, when he leaves, I'm very happy to see the back of his head walking out the door.

Your uncle is 54 and employed. WTF?

HIT THE ROAD LOSER!! :smash: Hehe, thanks. Yes.. he has waay overstayed his welcome. Not to mention, my mother has to pester him all the time to get his own place, because he wont do it on his own, thats why my Dad finally put his foot down... frankly though my Dad has hardly been here so he doesnt have to put up with him! My mother said that if he ever got her when she was in one of her moods, she wouldve just thrown him right now. Meangya, Im still waiting for her mood! Its nice that you get to spend some time and have fun with your brother, especially for the holidays.:) Yah.. when he first came back from CA, he didnt have his old job, nor his car, so when we got the job back my mother would have to drive him every day to and from work @ 6am and pick him up @ 330pm. After a couple weeks though, he rented a car. I understand car rentals may not be the cheapest things, but I mean.. he puts in major overtime- which is good- so youd think hed have enough $$ to get a place of some sort. Its sucky though, because for the past few weeks.. I have had 3 Saturdays off.. which is a miracle because I NEVER get a Saturday off, but it sucks because Id usually just sleep in and relax til the afternoon watching TV and such.. but instead hes watching stupid sports and such. :cuss: 2 Saturdays ago, I had off and my mother had gone out with her friend so it was just me and him. I had no desire to watch whatever the hell he was watching, and Im not one to be like.. this is my place and Im changing the channel, so I stayed up in my room watching Gidget tapes til about 2pm. That was the weekend of the big snowstorm.. otherwise I wouldve gone out. My God what a way to spend a Saturday! Hell, I probably wouldve watched Gidget downstairs, but thats besides the point! Not to mention I *refuse* to lay on the couch because he lays on it. Not that I think he has cooties, but its all nasty because its been so worn out since hes been there and it smells of smoke because he smokes so icks.

:cuss: THAT ****ING HURT.

Y'see, the computer desk that I'm at right now is next to the fireplace (but we never use it anyway), and it has this weird raised part of the floor in front of it...You know how normally the raised part is at least a foot high or so....Just high enough to be considered a sitting area...Well, that raised part is no more than 3 inches off the floor, and its corners.....MEANGYA. If you're not careful, you could hurt yourself which is exactly what I did. My left foot hit the corner of the raised part when I was walking to the desk and I fell down. ****. It's still throbbing, too. :cuss: Bastards.

 Well, it's this weird plastic-y-looking brick floor....It feels like real brick, but it has a plastic-y look to it...I'm attaching a 'cam pic of it...It's hard to make it out, but it should be obvious that the right side is where the brick floor thing is and the left side is the actual carpeting. At this point, it's hard to tell what the floor looks like, since it's nighttime

My foot isn't throbbing anymore, but I can still feel where I hit it. YEOWCH!

So I had to have bloodwork done this morning- yeah, no one told me that meant 6 of those vials!!!
I hate needles and was ready to cry at first but I was pretty good, until it was over, then..
i passed out.
like- i got all dizzy and then- wham, bam, gone, black.
i came to a minute later- a nurse on either side of me and I heard this little old lady say "she has such beautiful eyelashes!!"
they made me lay down with a cold compress and all that- then tried to give me a lollipop to bring up my blood sugar. They gave me a bubble gum lollipop- ew ew and ew. no. I don't care if I'm dying, not eating a bubble gum flavored lollipop! Where's the strawberry or sour apple?? Since when do bubble gum DumDums even exist????
Sooo...yeah, they made me call home for a ride since I "wouldn't be safe driving"
What a great morning...I still feel all weak.

Now let's just hope I don't have anemia, mono, diabetes, lyme, and whatever else they're testing for!

Anyway, I finally did that today...I went in feeling great and having a great hair day, assuming that the lady at the DMV was going to take a new pic of me for my ID card...I fill out everything, then she says "Nope, you don't need a new pic," and I was like "WTF?" because the pic of me on my last card was this really crappy one of me from when I was 16½ in early 2002...And now I look -NOTHING- like that pic. Not even close. I had long hair in it and I don't have long hair anymore, plus I have different glasses and I look older now. Okay, WTF...Then the lady finished making my card and I looked at it. Before, when I got my ID card in early 2002, mine didn't come with an expiration date thing...Now it does! My ID card won't expire until December 18, 2013. That's 10 years, folks.

1. My brat stepsis needs to die.
2. Everybody who ever stole my video games need to give me back MY games (Donkey Kong Country for the SNES and San Francisco Rush and Donkey Kong 64 for the n64, among others), or risk getting their nuts chopped off. I sincerely mean it. :boxing:
3. If my stepsis doesn't give me back my expansion pack AND the little door thing for MY n64, she is going to die.
4. My stepmom brought a Gateway in November 1999 (I hate it) and it was never that great to begin with. Her monitor was crappy as hell, I couldn't see a thing on it, etc., and then finally a while ago my dad told me that her monitor decided to die on them. Serves them right for buying an expensive computer that doesn't do jack.
5. VERY fortunately for them, they had an old computer setup in my bedroom - one I rarely used anyway, due to no 'net connection on it, including a monitor. So they took the monitor out, plugged it in and it works fine (and the monitor's better now), but now it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sluggish.
6. It's all my stepsister's ****ing fault. SHE TOTALLY HOSED DOWN THE COMPUTER. Who installed Kazaa? My stepsis. Who installed MSN Messenger? My stepsis (but I use it a lot anyway). Who installed Morpheus? My stepsis. Who installed Yahoo IM? My stepsis. You name it, most likely my stepsis installed it. The only major thing I did was install the Jasc software pack (Animation Shop and PSP) and Paintshop, but that was it.
7. So now, short of doing a complete format, I'm doing a MAJOR computer cleanup...And I found 3½ GB worth of music!! I have never downloaded any music and never will...There's a good reason for that and pretty much all my friends (you know who you are) know why, but I don't care to say why yet...I'm not ready to...anyhoo so I was pretty pissed to find that...that's nearly 4,000 MB of wasted precious space that could've made the computer perform better. About 75% of them are Christina Agruilera (sp?) songs, which I have heard the RIAA is after, so it ain't going to be my ****ing fault if she gets caught with this music. :nonono:

MWHAHAHAHAHA. Revenge is ****ing sweet. My mom brought about half the stuff that my stepsis stole (but the n64 stuff was rightfully mine, as it was a Xmas present), and she just told me a while ago that my dad now owes her quite a bit of $ for all the stuff my stepsis stole...He CAN afford to pay my mom back, he's loaded but he's such a cheapskate, so my mom and I are both prepared for the BS excuses my dad might throw our way if he won't pay my mom back the $.

1 of whom I'm dated (She's dated one of the three guys)
1 of whom I may be getting a little too involved with (She might be getting a little too involved with the second of three guys)
1 of whom's mother wants to welcome me to the family (The last guy's mom wants to meet her)

I can relate, I've been having dizzy spells for weeks.

This afternoon I was finally diagnosed with this inner-ear virus called Laberinthitus and Vertigo.

Guys are all obsessed with sex, and fall "in love" with whatever girl might give it up in the least amount of time.

I really mad at my dad because he gets this bizrre idea that i don't need a drivers license when everyone else wants me to get my license and the only time i able to pracite is when i pay for a driving lesson. I am 22. There is verry little public transportation out here. I even almost got a job interview but i had to turn down because their office is too far to get to without a car.

im so angry and frustrated. my parents expect me to get first honors(grades averaged out to a 90) which i have never gotten in my whole life, because of english, history, and math. u have to get grades above an 85 to get first honors, and it turns out that i got a 90 in english, a 93 in history and an 85 in math. so i thought i was going to get first honors this time BUT (grrr there's a but) i got an 80 in reading!!!!! it's not fair i only have that course 2 times a week and the teacher is a biiiiiiiiiiotch who is always crabby. im so angry i tried really hard this time. well i guess i'll never be smart. :(

I am having one of those days...thank the Lord for this thread.

Right now, my grandpa is in rehab, but he's being taken off dialysis, so he only has a matter of weeks left and we all know it. It's terrible to know that it's coming, ya know? My grandma was talking about buying clothes for the funeral today. :o

I'm on Easter break, but I haven't had one solid day of vacation yet, and I have to go back to school on Monday. I have four oral reports due once I go back, so I have absolutely nothing to look forward to.

I was just downstairs hoping to watch my Thorn Birds DVD that I got for Easter, but my dad won't stop watching the Yankees get the crap kicked outta them. I only have two days of vacation left, and they're both gonna be busy, so I'll probably never get to watch it. That was pretty much the only thing I've wanted to do since Sunday, but there's always something more important.

I'm going crazy...but I'll probably edit this post by tomorrow. :p
