Like other networks, Spike TV has their logo posted at the bottom right corner of the screen throughout each program except when they show V.I.P.. What's the reason for the exception?

What a idiot. tvparadise 12-30-2003, 07:10 PM Actually, Spike TV has never aired "VIP". "VIP" had aired on TNN up until June 27. The network did not become Spike TV until August 11 due to the Spike Lee lawsuit. Zebra 3 12-30-2003, 10:00 PM Back to back episodes of VIP starring Pamela Anderson aired last night and the previous night on Spike TV previously known as theNewTNN, and before this simply TNN (The Nashville Network). And again without Spike TV's dreaded logo watermark at the bottom right corner. I noticed just like a few years back when it was called theNewTNN the same no logo presentation happen during The Waltons. Even though I'm from Canada, there's no Canadian second channel named Spike TV, and there no mistake. It's on Rogers Cable, channel 32, between A&E (31) and CNN (33). I was thinking that in both instances (VIP and Waltons) only network promos, or PSAs were showing during the commercial breaks, with no typical paid ads. Zebra 3 10-26-2004, 02:56 PM According to SpikeTV's site, the police drama Magnum Force (1973) was suppose to air, but in Canada a couple of increstation free VIP episodes aired in its place instead??? |
