I want to know -- I'm asking for one for Xmas, and a lot of people I know have Kodak ones...I'm not too particularly fond of them, as the one my dad has is totaly f0cked up (but then, it's from 2001, so whaddya expect...). I'm looking for something other than a Kodak or HP. Thanks!

(BTW, right now, I'm looking around online for digital cameras, but I want to know what kind you have, how long you've had it and how good it's been to you)

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-P51 but I think this model is discontinued. I love it though. It's my best friend.

Only the one in my imagination! But seriously, you're really lucky if you get a digital camera for Christmas. No one in my family would ever spend that much money on me! If they do I'd be VERY surprised. For that kind of thing I have to save up and pay for it myself, unfortunately. The biggest thing I ever got for christmas from anyone is a Cascio piano/keyboard from my grandparents when I was 9. I don't know how much that was, but I still have it and it's really cool.

It's been fine...except the time it wouldn't take clear pictures and I paid $150 to get it fixed. But apparently I dropped it. At least thats what the people who fixed it said. Cuz the lense was broken or something. I don't know.

 My brother asked for a digital camera last year & got one, but it was a HP, and I'm not exactly a fan of HP/Kodak stuff. :-/

I got a scanner AND webcam one year for Christmas. :mrt:

A Sony? Hmmm, I'm gonna look into that. I like the stuff Sony makes...And I found a reasonable-priced one just now. The Sony Cybershot DSC-P32, ranging from $175 to $300.

Maybe I should just look some more....

I have a Ricoh Caplio RR30.

It's very easy to use. I like it a lot.

Mines HP and its a POS. Sony is the best. Just pay attention to the megapixels. The higher the megapixels, the better the pics. 5-6 is like the very, very best but really expensive. Around 3 is more reasonable and doesn't cost so much.

Ooo...Digital cameras were still pretty new in 2001...Now it's almost 2004 and so far the 3.2 megapixel cameras I've seen have been around $200 or lower. :D

I have a Kodak DX3600. It's a great camera, simple to use one draw back is it's battery life it's too short.

KODAK EASYSHARE CX4230 Zoom Digital Camera

I have the same except it's a CX6230. I've had it for a whopping 2 days but it took some awesome pictures for me at the Lions Thanksgiving game. The zoom is great.
