That's great news! Thanks for telling us about it TGFNickAtNite! I'm glad that they're keeping the special features in the box sets, that's the best part of the DVD's. February is going to seem like such a long time away now, lol.

Do Candians celebrate Thanksgiving then, Splain?

Yes, but in Mid October, not end of November. And it surprises me every year how important this holiday is to Americans, bigger than Christmas even!

All of which the rest of the world sees as ironic. Celebrating how the lives of the first settlers were saved by the Native Americans - right before the settlers started to wipe the Native Americans out!

Yes, i couldn't believe they gave them blankets that had been infected with smallpox to wipe them out, weapons of mass destruction used way back then! Yeah, Lucy is going to be providing us with another great year in '04. The second season of I Love Lucy and the 24 Best Here's Lucy eps and the specials are on tap also by the same guy that got the rights to the Here's Lucy shows.

That's what it said on CNN and the paper yesterday! I'm quoting US sources, thought they knew what they were talking about, maybe they were misguided Republicans?

Hi.

I have emailed and faxed the company producing the "Here's Lucy" DVDs. The company is: Paul Brownstein Productions. I bet if a few people faxed just one letter to the company, they would caption them.

Closed-captioning is not just convenient for the hearing impaired, but also for hearing people too. If you are ever in a noisy place or need to have the sound on mute, closed-captioning is convenient so you don't miss any of the dialog.

You can email the company at: studio@tvclassics.com

You can fax them at: (818) 386-0040

Thank you very much for your support!

-Patrick

They didn't GIVE them the blankets per se, they left at least one behind when they abandoned a fort. This blanket was then taken by the natives as kind of "war spoils" and it infected the village.
