I got a video of this after school special from the 70's. It's from the book, Summer of the Swans, by Betsy Byars. It stars both Eve Plumb and Chris Knight.

Chris's role is a bigger one than Eve's, though neither were the main character of the story.

I thought Chris really did a good job in it, acting wise. He captured the role perfectly.

I don't remember this afterschool special, and I used to watch those shows all the time as a kid! What is it about, and what year did it air? That's neat that they were in a special together.

I never knew Chris did any other acting. I saw him on an episode of CHiPs and One Day at a Time. Other than than, I thought the Brady franchise was it.

Early 70's. It looked like the 2nd to last or 3rd to last year of the Brady, judging by how they looked.

Chris was in another series after the Brady Bunch. I watched it all the time. He lived in an apartment with his dad and a younger brother, I think. It was a one set show, and they would always walk into some other area of the apartment through a door and close it behind them.

it was called joes world it aired in eather 79. or 80 he was also on a soap opera in the rer eraly 80s. but i cant remember what it was.

He was also in one episode of Happy Days and a 1968 episode of Gunsmoke, although in the latter his only part was before the opening credits; he said one word.

I might be interested in getting a tape of the movie, but the only ones I can find online are $30-$40 (Amazon included). Know of any cheaper places?

If you live in a large city, sometimes you can find rare videos (or books) cheap. Check stores that sell them used.

I was going to order a used book once for $30. But I decided to check ONE store on my lunch break. I found the book for 2 dollars.
