HOTEL heiress Paris Hilton was convinced that "Charmed" star Shannen Doherty was behind the embarrassing porn tape showing Paris having sex with Shannen's ex-husband Rick Salomon.
The socialite even placed irate phone calls to Shannen, who's now host of "Scare Tactics," The ENQUIRER has learned. Paris, 22, was in Australia when the scandal broke about the video, which was reportedly made three years ago - before Shannen married and separated from on-line betting entrepreneur Salomon - and was recently leaked to an Internet porn site.
"S h a n n e n brushed off Paris' angry calls, saying she had nothing to do with it," a friend of the actress told The ENQUIRER. "Of course Shannen's probably delighted to see Paris publicly humiliated because when her short marriage to Rick ended, Paris resumed dating him"
Paris is one of the stars of FOX's new reality series "The Simple Life," in which the party girl goes to live in a working-class environment.
"I bet Shannen thinks Paris is an untalented, spoiled rich girl," another friend disclosed. "Paris for her part thinks Shannen's a mess, always causing trouble. But at the same time she envies her acting success.
"You can truly say they detest each other - but I know Shannen had nothing to do with sending the video." On November 12, Salomon filed a $10 million slander lawsuit against Paris and her family, maintaining that Paris was an "active participant" in making the video but she and her family have waged "a cold, calculated and malicious campaign to portray Salomon as a rapist" to protect her image.
