so what is going to happen to the show. they did the four episodes dealing with paul's death..so what comes after this? i mean what direction is the show going to take. does anybody know??

also who has heard that they (the people @ ABC) have changed the name of the show to just 8 Simple Rules, dropping the ...for dating my teenage daughter. this makes a lot of sense considering it is usually a father figure that protects his daughters from boys, and w/out a father there is no need to keep that part of the title.

Well, the next episode will air on December 16, it's the Christmas show. James Garner is also in it. He is slated to be in another episode or so after this one as well.

They changed the name a few weeks ago. Even during the title shot during the credits, it just says "8 Simple Rules."
