ON THE RADIO TODAY THEY SAID THAT TV LAND IS SPLITTING UP INTO TWO DIFFERENT CHANNELS:
IN THE EVENING WILL B OLDER SITCOMS, AND DURING THE DAY SHOWS LIKE FAMILY TIES, ETC WILL B SHOWING...

FYI

Well, if that is happening it won't be for a while, because I don't see any change in the list of shows on their schedule list. That may happen later, but I think that TV Land is relaxing right now, and I can't see them rush into something like that too quickly. I never heard about that.

I think you either misheard what they said or they don't have the right information.

There is an article on the main Sitcoms Online news section that says TV Land is going to have 2 seperate feeds - 1 for the East Coast and 1 for the West Coast like Nick at Nite does now. That way people on the West Coast will see the same programs as the East during the same hours. For example, the 8pm show on the east coast will air at 8pm on the west coast instead of 5pm like it does now.

The article says that Nick at Nite is going to shows from the late 70's and 80's while TV Land will be showing stuff from the 70's and older.

They are getting a 2nd feed not 2 different channels...

I've just got one question I've been itching to ask! With all of TV Land's shows that are older than Nick at Nite's shows, how come TV Land shows Roc in the mornings?

I know. If anything, I wish they'd show Perfect strangers or head of the clss there.
