My thoughts are with her family this holiday. I hope they find her alive and safe.

I just read about her online today. I haven't seen any sorts of news coverage or anything on her.

I've tried to find some other news stuff on her - there is only one picture of her online or anything.

Being a mother makes these things very real to me. It will be a rough holiday for her family and I pray she's safe.

IT seems there is most definely foul play in this case. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up when I read and think about the part where it says the second phone call was nothign but static and the sound of buttons being pressed. It sounds like she was trying to call for help and couldn't :(

I wish I could help them find her. :(

I live here in North Dakota, and I can say for sure it's front-page news all over the state right now & I used to live 90 minutes away from Grand Forks, and I've been to Columbia Mall (where she was last seen) many times before...She was attending UND and I have a bunch of friends going there now in every year...

I think it is so sad. :( My mom and I were just discussing this last night and my mom doubted that Dru is still alive now because it's pretty cold in Grand Forks now and she's been missing since Saturday of last week...ohno:

I just hope they find more leads soon and that she is still alive. :crying:

Yep, I think I know that area. How close are you from the GF/EGF area?

it's very sad :( When you look at Elizabeth Smarts case - things just don't turn out like that very often. It's very rare for someone missing to return home alive.

It sounds like foul play has played the part in this case with Dru and like your mom, I have doubts that she's still alive. There has been too much time lapsed between her disappearance and now and as you said, it's very very cold. I am still saying prayers and I hope her family gets closure one way or another.

Just an updated article, nothing new unfortunately. I'm sure yesterday was rough for Dru's family.

http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/4237192.html

On another note, I was reading a Yahoo article and clicked on the message board link at the end. Has anyone ever read the garbage that is posted on those Yahoo Boards? I was appalled at some of the things people were posting about this young woman, how rude and nasty people are.

I'm glad this board is not like that at all.

It could be a copycat but it is a big coincidence that it happened so close to where Dru was kidnapped from.
