I thought about it after last week's episode when she quit her job. There was a scene with her and Doug in the kitchen and they showed her from the side. In tonight's episode, again in the kitchen, she's making Thanksgiving dinner and I just can't help but think she's gotten bigger.

I remember from her VH1 special that she was trying to get pregnant and I'm just wondering if she's in about month 2 or 3 right about now?

Am I wrong here?

The untucked shirt is probably the biggest dead giveaway of all. Normally, they'd show her off, show some stomach or navel or at least have her wear something tight-fitting that TUCKS IN! Goodness, I wonder how Doug and Carrie will look by sweeps in May ( you know, with him on Atkins and her about due ). Should be interesting!

Oh yeah, not loving her hair that much either. They need to do something else with it. :(

Has any announcement been made about Leah being pregnant? I wonder how or if it will be written in the show. There was another show awile back where on of the stars got pregnant but they did'nt write it in the show. The storyline they used was that this person broke their leg or something like that and they had her do all her scene from a bed covered up under blankets.

I thought something was up with Leah too. On last night's show when she was cooking, her faced looked puffy and then it seemed as if she's gained a little weight. I was also wondering why they had her looking so sweaty and dressed kind of down--she's usually cute and her clothes are too.
The character of Carrie sure was mean and ugly last night. Having Doug close the curtains cause everyone wasnt paying full attention to her dinner. Doug's line about her being scarier than "Patchy" was funny.

Yeah. She did look very scary last night.....and mean.

She may have been mean but in the end she was the one who was right all along. :p

I have thought the same thing the last 2 weeks.

Has anyone thoght of writing to ask? You will usual get some kind of response.

Did you ask if Leah is pregnant?

How many here sent an e mail? Just 2 of us. If they get enough maybe she will make an announcement.

Even if she was, it's understandable that she wouldn't want to go public yet, I mean with a pregnancy, not only is it such a personal thing but there's always the change of miscarriage, etc. so maybe she just wants to keep it under wraps until she's further along. If she wants to announce it herself, then that's up to her.

She's definintely gained some weight but she's married now. Maybe she's decided to "Let herself go!" :D Seriously...she may be pregnant in real life even though she's only been married a short time. And they are dancing around a baby for the Heffernans anyway so...nice if she is! They can write it in!

Again folks, on the VH1 special, she told her doctor that her and hubby wanted to get pregnant and she wants the baby to arrive in June. Another scene in a car in that special had Angelo telling her that she was getting older and it's time to tie the knot and have a couple kids...so I guess that's what they're doing.

I thought i read somewhere that Leah's husband in real life was sterile or something like that. Maybe thats why they are reluctant to make any announcement (like a surrogate father issue or something.)

Leah said she wanted a girl but looks like Angelo has a history of producing boys. She still has a 50/50 chance of a girl though.

I looked it up on the movie database and it says in her bio that she is expecting her first child June 2004. I guess that means that we were right!

I think Leah said she will name her baby girl Sophia.

I wonder if she will continue to act after having the baby. Maybe she wants to be a full time mom? :confused:
