I'm sure a new tradition is starting this Thanksgiving - watching DVD on DVD!
sure beats football - well, most of the time anyway.
Hope everyone is enjoying themselves. I don't have exact sales figures, but the sets were #136 and 134 in the Amazon sales rank.
Given the COMPLETE lack of publicity and promotion, that's excelllent. Best Buy did advertise them in their newspaper ads the first week, but, surprisingly they are not featured in the holiday, family favorites. I don't know how that works or whether Image would have had to pay a promo fee to get that visibility, but I suspect so. Nonetheless, there are many happy households.
So enjoy your turkey (i'm a dressing and cranberry sauce (no orange or nuts thank you) man!)
and raise a glass (or a drumstick) to Carl, Dick, Mary, Rosie, Larry, Annie, and those who are no longer with us.
Doug
PS. I still haven't read the reunion script but I will, and I'll try and find out more about the timing of that show.
