View Full Version : Thanksgiving Travel Plans
Since the day before Thanksgiving is the busiest travel day of the year, I was wondering what everyone's travel plans are for today/tomorrow.
Right now I getting ready to head to Penn Station to hop a train for NJ. My parents are at my sister's house babysitting my niece today, so I thought it would be nice to get a little uncle time in, plus I hate crowded trains, so i thought I'd get out of the city before thngs get even more crazy round here.
What about yous guys?
;)

Both of my stepsons live in Haverhill with their families. There are some lousy sections there, but some beautiful areas too.
Jenya 11-26-2003, 03:33 PM I'll be working tomorrow. We already had Thanksgiving. I was just so happy to see my sister in good spirits when I went to Russia. She is currently battling cancer right now, and I needed to spend some time with her. I'm hoping now, that she can come here to Canada, and recieve some treatment. :)
Sorry for my sad story. :( It's sometimes a little hard for me to talk about it. :crying:
Crimson and Clover 11-26-2003, 04:22 PM Ill only be going about 10 miles from my house.
dandelion wine 11-26-2003, 04:29 PM My parents are an hour away, so that's all the traveling I'll be doing tomorrow morning.
Ewan's My Man 11-26-2003, 04:34 PM Ok...I'm going really far...COMPLETE directions given...follow me here...
-Take 2 steps out of left side of bed
-Walk 6 steps to door
-Open door
-Walk 8 steps to stairs, turning left after 6
-Go down 14 stairs and take a direct right
-Walk 10 steps down the foyer hallway
-Turn left and take 15 steps into family room, ending in middle of couch
-Sit on couch
-Pick up remote
-Turn on parade
-Wait for cousins to come over
Give or take a few steps...
Now, I think it's safe to say I will be travelling the farthest and doing the most physical activity to get to my "Thanksgiving location". I mean, I'll be EXHAUSTED!
I am hanging aroud my sisters house with my niece right now, then back to the ol' homestead for the night, then on to my brother's house tomorrow.
My mother cooked a turkey this morning, so we will not miss out on any Thanksgiving leftovers this weekend.
The woman is insane.
