I know this is an off topic question but how do you make avatars??? Is it just a matter of finding a picture that you want to use and shrinking it down??? I keep trying to add one but it tells me that the picture is too big. Some people have some beautiful avatars but I'm not very good at computer stuff like that. Does someone at least know of any links regarding making avatars???

It's exactly what you said.. You find a picture you like and in any paint or photo program you open it and in the menus somewhere it should say "resize" or something like that and you should make it at the maximum 150 x 150 (i think that's the biggest you could have it on this message board) save it, and then upload it like you usually try to. I hope this helps.

I'm want to make an avatar featuring both Jeannie and Samantha but I'm not having much success, unfortunately. This whole computer gig just ain't my bag, I'm afraid!!! LOL!

LOL, it took me a while to get used to it.. honestly I have no idea how I learned all of it, I had no help from anyone. If you want, I'll ATTEMPT to make you one with Sam and Jeannie, just let me know what pictures to use.. I think I might be able to do it.

Thanks, Vanessa. I tried to do one on my computer but it would only let me save the pictures as bitmap for some unknown reason. And as a result it wouldn't let me load the avatar because it wasn't in jpeg format. Any picture of Samantha and Jeannie are fine, actually. I joined your Jeannie group on Yahoo today. I think it was yours, anyway.
