I liked when they did the door, what Rory did was funny.

I wish they would but keep John Ritter in as a tribute. I loved when Rory tried to moon the camera and Paul grabbed him and pulled him in LOL

I was wondering that too.. I hope that they keep Paul in the opening in some sort of way, also.

I actually thought they might have something along the lines of family photographs or something with slower music but I guess not. It's interesting and fitting that the name was changed to just "8 Simple Rules"

I don't know if they will change the opening theme. I think they should though with an actual theme song. But still have John in some way in the opening.

If they change it I hope that they leave John in it in some way shape or form. He might be gone but his presence will always be on the show.

At least John is still featured on the website for 8 Simple Rules at ABC.com.
