“Ten seconds ago you weren’t complaining”CD teased and got out of the car.
Half an hour later someone poked to CD’s sholder.She turned around and saw Nate.He had a goofy grin on his face and looked proud of himself.CD looked at his pants.And she noticed that the ‘problem’was gone.

“Nate?What did you do to….um….ya know?”she whispered,not wanting others to hear.

“Well,when you went to the crime scene I assumed that,well,we’d have to go to the division after you come back.And I realized,that I wouldn’t be able to do that,because the problem wouldn’t be gone.So….I…kinda….um, iwenttothebathroomandgotridoftheproblem”he said as fast as he could.CD was staring at him and the burst out laughing

“It’s not funny”Nate growled.He was embarrassed.

“Yes it is.And where did ya find a bathroom?”she asked,trying to compress her laughter.

“The cafe.Now let’s get back to the case”he said and went to look at everything himself.CD just grinned and followed him.

Meanwhile Jinny was sitting at her desk,doing her paperwork.The phone rang and she picked it up.

“Extead”she said.

“You’re not gonna believe this”she heard Teddys voice and smiled.

“Well hi and I love you two baby”she teased him.

“Yea,hi and I love you.So you’re listening?”Teddy sounded excited.

“Yes.So what do ya wanna tell me?”Jin was curious.

“Just don’t tell that to anyone.So…half an hour ago I decided to have an early lunch.So I went to this café and ordered food.While I was waiting for it,I was looking through the window.And then I saw CD and Nate’s car.They stopped it and talked a little and then CD kissed him and got out.About five minutes later,he drove near the café and got out.When he entered he immediately asked where the bathroom was.It was then when I saw he had a hard on….”Teddy sounded like Raina.

“He had a WHAT?”Jinny couldn’t belive her ears.

“Wait,there’s the best part: when he came back from the bathroom his hard-on was gone.So that means”Teddy was cut off.

“He was jerking off!!!”Jinny shouted.

“Yea.By the way,aren’t you at the division?”Teddy asked chukling.Jinny then remembered where she was and looked around.Everyone was staring at her and grinning.

“Ok,fine,you win.I’m in”he glowled.

“Yay!By the way,what are ya doing at your lunch break?”Jin asked.

“Having lunch with you,I hope”

“I had other plans.How bout I’ll do the thing, that Nate did to himselt half an hour ago,to you?Just useing my mouth instead?”she smirked.

“Meet me at my place”Teddy exclaimed.Then they said their goodbyes and hung up.Jinny turned aroung and saw Raina standing in front of her.

“Who was that?”she asked all excited.

“Nobody”Jin said and sat down.

“Ok,let me rephrase the question: who was jerking off?”Raina was dying to know.

“No one”Jinny smirked and stood up to leave.Raina grabbed her hand.

“Yeah right!Now tell me the truth”

“Listen,ya wanna be an inspector right?Then why don’t ya find it out yourself?”Jinny tease and left.Raina just growled and got back to work.

Half an hour later there was a knock on Teddy’s door.He opened it and was greeted with a passionate kiss.Jinny closed the door with her leg, not breaking the kiss.She started ripping Teddy’s clothes off and soon they were both naked making out on the couch.

That evening Nate came home exhausted.He went to listen to the meassages on his answer machine.There was only one message from Teddy.He asked Nate if he wanted to go and have a drink.Nate was too tired so he called Teddy to say no.

“Hello”Teddy picked up the phone.

“Hey it’s me”Nate said.

“Stop it damn it”Nate heard Teddy whispering.Then he heard Jinny’s voice: “Five minutes aho you weren’t complaining.Nate chuckled.

“Am I interrupting something?”he teased.

“No no,so why are ya calling?”Teddy asked a little embarrassed.

“I got your message”

“Ohhh,that.Um,I totally forgot.Jinny came and---“Teddy was cut off.

“You started screwing her and you don’t want to have a drink anymore.That’s ok.I couldn’t go anyways.And tell Jinny I said hi”Nate said smiling.

“Um,ok.So have a nice evening.Bye”Teddy said and hung up.He turned around and looked at Jinny.

“Couldn’t you keep our hands off of me for two minutes?Now Nate will tease me forever.”he frowned.

“I don’t think so.He won’t say a word after you tell him what you have seen”she smirked and started kissing him again.

The nexy morning CD entered the division and saw a big bouquet of roses on her desk.She came to it and saw a card.

“It doesn’t say who sent you those”Raina exclaimed before thinking of what she was saying.

“And how do YOU know”CD looked at her realizing she read the note.

“Um…just..a little bird told me.Yeah,a bird”she stammered.

“Yeah,right”so who brought these?”CD decided to let it go.

“Some guy from the flower store.He said that the guy who ordered these was tall, handsome.Anyone I know?”Raina was dying to know who CD was seeing.

“No, but maybe I’ll introduce you to him…..someday”CD lied and sat downAt that moment Nate entered.He saw the flowers and smiled.

“Who are these from?”he pointed to the vase,pretending he didn’t know anything.

“Just some guy.Nothing special”CD teased and smiled. At that moment Teddy came into the division and headed straight to Jinny’s desk. Five minutes later,when they stopped making out because Kate told Jin to get back to work, Teddy came to Nate’s desk.

“Hey”he said and grinned.

“Oh,hello there,so did yahave a great time last night?”Nate teased and looked to Jinny.

“Yea,I did.You’ll never believe what I saw yesterday.I was sitting in this little café and waiting for the waitres.And then I saw a car. And two people making out in it. And guess what,five minutes later the man from that car came to the café and pactically sprinted to the bathroom.Oh, did I mention that he had a hard-on and when he came out it was gone?Can you believe that?”Teddy pretended he wasn’t talking about Nate,who was sitting there with his cheeks and ears red.Nate wanted a big hole to open up and swallow him.Then he stood up and pointed to the bathroom.Once he and Teddy were inside and Nate closed the door, he spoke up.

“Listen.Teddy.We’re buddies right?o there is NO need to……”Nate stopped talking when he saw Teddy was laughing.

“I have to get back to work”Teddy said and left the bathroom.Nate wanted to go after him, but Teddy was already gone,so Nate went back to his desk.He leaned to CD’s ear and whispered:

“Teddy knows”and sat down.

“I know.Jinny told me,but we’ll talk about that later.”CD said and got back to what she was doing. But she couldn’t concentrate because something was bothering her.

After a few hours Nate offered to go and grab some food, but CD said she needed to do something and left the division without explaining what was that something. Nate got a little worried but he knew that if he needed to know CD would tell him.

CD went to the store and bought a pregnancy test.She wasn’t feeling well and she was a week late.

About thirty minutes later a phone rang in Kate’s office.

“Captain McCafferty”Kate picked up the phone.

“Hey,Cap.It’s me”Cap heard CD’s voice.

“What’s wrong?”Kate asked a little concerned.

“I’m afraid I’m not feeling well and I won’t come back to work today.Is that ok?”

“Sure.Is everything ok?”

“Yeah,I’ll be fine.Will you tell Nate?”CD asked and when Kate promisssed to do that,hung up.CD was lying in her bed and thinking.Would the baby change her life? Would she and Nate be ok if she kept the baby? Or shoulded she do an abortion? Or maybe give the baby away for an adoption?She was sure Nate wouldn’t want it, so she couldn’t keep it. But would she be able to give her baby away because of Nate?


About half an hour later her phone rang.It was Nate.He was very concerned about CD but she reassured him she was ok and he hung up.Then CD picked up the phone again and called to the hospital and then decided to call Jinny.She was sure Jin would know what to do.

“Exstead”Jinny answered the phone and heard CD’s teary voice on the other side.

“Oh honey,what’s wrong?”Jin was worried.

“I’m pregnant”CD said and started sobbing again.

“But that’s great!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!WOW!!! I never knew you and Nate…..ya know. Why didn’t you tell me?”Jin was all excited.She couldn’t understand why CD was so sad about being pregnant.

“We never did that.The baby is Greg’s “CD whispered.

‘oh my god’ Jinny thought.Now it was all clear.She decided to go to CD immediately, so she hung up and ran to Cap to ask for the rest of the day off. Kate wasn’t very fond of the idea, but Jinny said it was something very important and Cap finally gave her ok. Jin rushed to her car and soon she was knocking on CD’s door. CD slowly rose up from the couch and went to open the door. She could hardly see the way, through her tears. She unlocked the door and got back to sit down on the couch.Jinny came to CD and held her while she was crying.When she finally calmed down, she started telling all the story.

“Are ya sure you want to do this?”Jin asked.

“I don’t know.I just don’t wanna lose Nate.I love him”CD lowered her eyes.

“You’ve gotta tell them”

“Them?I don’t wanna tell Greg!”CD alsmot shouted.

“You have to.He’s the father and has the right ot know.I could go with you if ya want”Jin suggested.

“No,I’ll tell him myself, but I’m not sure if I want to tell Nate.I think that the best thing to do would be……”CD was cut off.

“You crazy?You must tell him.Damn it CD!”now Jinny was yelling.

“Ok ok,I don’t know.First I’m gonna see the doctor and them we’ll see about everything.

CD took the following day off sauing she wsn’t feeling well and went to the hospital. Her doctor confirmed she was pregnant. CD told her she wanted to have an abortion and doctor Jerrington told her to think about that again and to come three days later.That day CD went to see Greg and to tell him about the baby. She was standing in front of his door and took a deep breath.She knocked and a few minutes later a young girl, about 20 years old opened the door.

“Can I help you?”she asked.

“Um,I’m here to see Greg.He’s home?” CD asked a little confused.

“Yeah,come in”the girl opened the door wider and CD stepped in1tp the apartment. Then she saw Greg coming out of the bathroom with a towel around his hips. He was very surprised to see CD standing there.

“Hey”he said a little confused.

“Hello”CD smiled.

“You met my girlfriend Kayla”he pointed to the girl and when CD shook her head he introduced them.Kayla felt a little uncomfortable being there so she left, saying she would call Greg.As she closed the door Greg pointed to the couch.CD sat bown and sighed.

“What are ya doing here?”he asked.

“I came here to tell you something…..i’m well……I’m pregnant”she said and lowered her eyes.

“And why are ya telling me this?”he asked calmly.

“Because it’s yours”

“Are ya sure?Because, no offence, but I’m not sure if I believe you. Let’s face it,CD, you slept with me the frist day we met and now you’re telling me you’re pregnant.How can I be sure the baby’s mine?”

CD couldn’t believe her ears.Not only he was saying whe was whoring around but he refused to admit the baby was his.She got angry and Greg continued:

“And if that”he waived his hand towards CD’s belly “ IS mine,then……well, I don’t want it.I can give you some money and you can get rid of it”he said and stood up. He went to the kitchen and came back a few moments later,carrying his wallet. CD looked at him dumbfounded.

“How much do you need?”he asked as he took out some money. Then CD stood up and walked towards the door.

“Go fukk yourself”she said and left. She got into her car and went home. She tossed her keys on the table and sat down.How could she be so stupid to think Greg would want the baby? And if Greg told her to get rod of it, Nate would never approve of keeping it. Though,he wasn’t a jerk as Greg was. She decided to tell Nate about her pregnancy that evening.

CD was woken up by the knock.She growled and stood up. When she opened the door she saw a huge bouquet or red roses in front of her face, and Nate behind them.

“If you came here to tell me we’re over, you can not bother. I already realized that”she said with the hurt in her voice.

She opened her mouth to say goodbye, but before she could say a word, Nate’s lips covered her mouth.At first she tried to fight him but finally she gave in and kissed him back. When Nate broke the kiss, she invited him and closed the door behind her.

“I’m so sorry CD. I know I was acting like the biggest jerk in the whole universe,but”

“Let me finish…so were was I ? Oh yeah, I know I was the biggest a**hole in the whole planet,but please give me another chance. I love you CD. More that anything in the world. And I don’t care if you are pregnant or not. CD…I love you and I want to be with you and ,if you let me, I wanna be the daddy of your child.What do you say?” he looked at her and saw tears running down her cheeks. He came to her and gently embraced her and kissed her tears away.

“I love you too Nate”CD smiled as they broke the kiss “and I though that you hated me for….for this. And I thought you hated my baby” CD whispered and looked at the floor.

“I could never hate you or your baby. Actually, I think I love it”he smiled as he caressed her belly.

They both went to sit down on the couch and CD put her head on Nate’s shoulder, and Nate wrapped one hand around CD and put another on her belly.

That night Nate spent with CD.They cuddled together in the bed and CD immediately fell asleep on Nate’s chest. Nate couldn’t sleep. He was thinking about CD and the baby. He had never thought that another man’s child could make him so happy. He couldn’t believe that finally he was going to have a family – a woman he loved (who,Nate hoped, was going to be his wife one bay)and an unborn baby. Nate wrapped one hand around CD and put another one on her belly, and fell asleep with a smile on his face.

The next morning cD woke up when the sun started shining to her face.She looked at the clock , it was 10 am. CD looked at the other side of the bed and saw that Nate wasn’t there. Then she heard his voice humming a lullaby. CD smiled and, got up and went to the kitchen. Nate was making breakfast. She wrapped her hands around his waist from behind and kissed his neck.

“Good morning, sweetie” Nate smiled as he turned around and put his arms around CD.

“Hey…what are you doing?” CD asked.

“ Making breakfast. Why?”

“No, nothing…I just thought it was a little strange that you were making me breakfast while we should be at work.”

“Well……I talked to Cap this morning and she said that we could take the day off” he grinned.

“And why would she say that?” CD looked at him suspiciously.

“Because we’re sick”

“We are?”

“Yes we are. So what do you wanna do today?” Nate asked as he put the pancakes to the plates.

“I don’t know. I want to eat first and then we could have a picnic on the beach.”
CD said and sat down.

“Whatever you want baby. By the way, don’t you have morning sickness?”

“Not this morning.” CD smiled and started stuffing her face. Nate chuckled and started eating as well.

After breakfast Nate told CD to go and sit on the couch and have a rest while he’d tidy the apartment up. CD started protesting and wanted to help him, but after five minutes of arguing she realized that she’d not win this and sat down and turned the TV on.

An hour later they were ready to go to the beach. They went to a quiet place. There were rocks all around it and it felt cozy in there. Nate put the stuff down and wanted to spread the blanket but then he saw a couple near them.

“CD, I don’t think this is a good place to have a picnic” he said and pointed to the couple,that was lying on the sand and making out. The woman had no blouse on and the man was wearing only his boxers. The man was kissing down the woman’s body and she was stroking his back. CD giggled and wanted to go, but suddenly…..

“Oh yyyyyessssss. Mmmmmm Teddy “Jinny moaned as Teddy kissed her belly and caressed her inner thigh through her pants.



“Sex on the beach, huh?” CD said loudly. Teddy and Jinny froze. They looked at each other and then at CD and Nate who had goofy grins on their faces. Teddy got off of Jinny and they both started gathering their clothes.



“Errmm…….hey guys” Jin stammered as she put her blouse on.



“No no no, don’t stop….um, doing what you were doing. We just wanted to say ‘hi’. We’re leaving now” Nate said trying to hide the grin.



“Have a good time guys” CD said as she turned around and walked away together with Nate. Teddy started outing his clothes on, but Jin stopped him.



“What are you doing?” he asked surprised.



“Come on, Teddy. They’re gone. They won’t see us. We can continue, you know” she said and grinned at him evily.



“They can’t, but someone else can. What if…” his woed were interrupted by Jinny’s lips on his mouth and her hand on his manhood.



“Why do you always have to be such a good boy”Jiny whispered in his ear. Teddy just smiled at her, laid her on the sand and got on top of her…..



Meanwhile CD and Nate were walking in the beach. Nate was carrying a basket with food, because he and CD had lost their appetite after Jin and Teddy. They both had their shoes in their hands and the ocean was washing their feet.



“Nate?” CD asked as she looked to the ocean.



“Hmm?” he looked at her.



“Are you really ok with this, you know, me and my baby? I mean, it’s not yours and I’d understand if you didn’t want to be the part of its life. You could only be my boyfriend.”



“CD, listen. I already told you that I want to be the father of your child. I love you, CD, and I love your baby. OUR baby” he said as he wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her gently on the lips.



“I’m glad you’re here for me Nate. For me and my baby” CD smiled and out her head on his shoulder.



“And I will always be here CD. Always” Nate whispered and held her tighter.

Sorry it's been so long since i last posted......I had problems with my pc, but now it's working again! So here's more!

That evening CD and Nate went to have dinner in a little restaurant. After dinner they got back home, turned on TV and cuddled on the couch.

"Hey CD" Nate said as he stroked her hair.

"Hmmm?" she looked at him.

"We should start thinking of the name for this little one" he patted her belly.

"Oh, ok. You have any ideas?"

"Well....I might have" he smiled.

"Come on, tell me" she punched him lightly in the stomach.

"Ouch! That hurt. You know, I've been thinking about the names of our kids for more than a year now and if...."

"Whoa...what did you say? OUR kids? A YEAR?!" CD was surprised. She knew Nate loved her for a long time, but he had never told her that he thought about kids.

"Well, yeah. After I realized that i loved you, I used to lay in my bed at nights and think about you and me and our children." he looked at her lvingly.

"Tell me about it"

"Ok.....my dream is that you and I are married. We live in a big house with a picked fence. I come home from work and our kids come running to me shouting 'daddy'. Then you come and we kiss and our kids are like 'ewwwww, gross' " Nate laughed "that part always makes me laugh."

A few tears rolled down CD's cheeks. "I love it, Nate. And i love you" she smiled and kissed him passionately. A minute later Nate broke the kiss and spoke.

"OK, the names now. If this little one is a boy, I'd like to call him James or Sean. And if it's a girl, then Catherine or Mary Kate. So, what do you think?" he looked at her almost afraid that she wouldn't laught at those names.

"I like those names. And i like James and Mary Kate the best. So, we'll call this baby Mary Kate if it's a girl and James if it's a boy."

"Great! I'm glad you like them. Oh, where are you gonna find out the gender? And you should see the doctor asap. We have to make sure that everything's ok. Because, you know, you may have to take a maternity leave. And i don't want you working in the streets anymore. What if anything happens to you?" Nate started babbling.

"Nate Nate!!! Don't forget to breath! Calm dow. I'm gonna see my doc in 3 days. And I'm NOT gonna stop working in the streets unless my doctor tells me. And one more thing, stop acting like this" she rolled her eyes.

"Like what?" Nate pretended to be dumb, though he knew what she was talking about.

"Like an overprotective proud daddy" she giggled.

"Hey! I'm not overprotective! And I AM a proud daddy" he smiled and kissed her belly. CD giggled and ran her hand through his hair.

"I'm tired. I guess i should go to bed" she said as Nate stopped kissing her belly. Nate looked at the clock. It was only 8 p.m. He smiled and picked CD up and carried her to the bedroom. He helped her out of her clothes and tucked her in. Then he leaned and kissed her gently on the lips and then kissed her belly.

"I love you. Both of you"

"We love you too" CD whispered and closed her eyes.

The next day CD and Nate entered the division together. They came to their desks and sat down. Nate took CD’s hand.

“Calm down baby. Everything’s gonna be just fine.”he smiled. CD just sighed.

“I know. I’m just a little worried about Cap’s reaction.”

“She’ll be happy for us. I’m sure she will. You know what? I think we should go to Cap right now and tell her everything.”

“Tell me what inspectors?” they heard a voice behind them. CD and Nate turned around and saw Kate.

“Uh, nothing”CD lied. Cap noticed CD was nervous, but decide to let it go.

“Ok. I’ve got a murder case for the two of you”she handed them the folder.

Nate and CD stood up and started walking. When they reached the door CD stopped and turned around. Kate was still in the bulpen, talking to Jinny.

“By the way, Cap! I’m pregnant!” she shouted and left.

Everyone fell silent and stood motionless for a moment. Then Kate ran out of the division after CD and Nate. She caught them right before they entered the elevator.

“Wait!” she shouted.CD and Nate stopped and looked at Kate and then at each other.

“Is it true”?she asked.
“Um, kinda…yeah” CD looked to the floor.

“Oh my god! Congratulations!!!”Kate squealed and hugged CD.

‘Since when does Cap squeal?’ thought Nate and grinned. Kate then hugged Nate, and they all got back to the division. As they were walking through the bullpen, everyone hugged CD and patted Nate on the shoulder and showed him thumbs up. Everyone thought that he was the one that knocked CD up, because they were together.

“Now tell me everything. How did it happen?”Kate asked smiling once they were in her office.

“You don’t know where babies come from Cap?” Nate teased.

“Of course I do, smartass”Kate rolled her eyes. “So how far along are you?”

“6 weeks”Nate answered proudly and put his hand on CD’s belly.

“But…how is that possible? I mean, Nate was in hospital 6 weeks ago” Kate was confused.

“Um, actually Nate isn’t the father of this baby.”

“But I’m the daddy anyways. I mean, I’m not the biological father, but I love CD and I love this baby and I want to be the daddy and raise it like my own child” Nate smiled and squeezed CD’s hand.Kate’s eyes got teary.

“That’s so sweet of you Nate. I’m very happy for you guys. So….are you gonna get married?”

“No, we don’t wanna rush”CD answered. Kate nodded.

“You need a new partner now Nate”Cap stated.

“Whoa…What?! You can’t split us up.We’re a great team!”CD stood up.

“I’m not splitting you up. It’s just that you can’t work in the streets anymore and I don’t think Nate wants to be on the desk duty with you. He’ll need another partner to work in the streets with”Kate explained.

“What?! DESK DUTY?!?!I can’t believe it! I’m not an invalid, you know! I CAN work!” she shouted. Nate stood up and came to CD.

“Sweetie, calm down. You have to understand Cap. She doesn’t want you to get hurt.”he put his arms around her but CD pushed him away.

“You’re on HER side?! I and the baby are gonna be just fine! I CAN work in the streets together with Nate, Cap!” Kate and Nate looked at each other and then at CD, and CD realized she was not gonna win, so she stormed out and went to her desk and sat down on the top of it. Kate and Nate came after her.

“CD, get back in my office and we can talk there, ok?” Cap said.

“I can’t get back to your office.I’m not allowed to walk, remember? I might endanger the baby!”CD’s voice was full of sarcasm.

“CD, don’t be childish”Nate said.

“So now I’m childish?! Why thank you very much Nathan Basso!” CD turned away from him. Nate sighed and looked at the Cap.She just shrugged.

CD was sitting at her desk, bored to death. Her paperwork was finished and she had nothing to do. She decided to call Nate, but as she was picking up the phone, she heard someone squealing.

“Oh my god!!!!! I can’t believe this is all happening. I can finally work with real cops!”

CD turned around and saw a girl, about 22, standing next to Cap and looking around, who just rolled her eyes. Then the girl ran to CD and spread her hand.

“Hi!!! I’m Stacey Reynolds gonna work here!” she was almost jumping up and down with the excitement. CD looked at her trying to not laugh!

“Uh, hi Stacey. I’m CD. “CD shook Stacey’s hand. Then Stacey went away to meet other cops.

“Stacey in a new Nate’s partner”Kate said.

“You must be kidding me Cap.” CD said with a grin on her face. “Nate is not a babysitter, you know.” CD now had a goofy grin on her face. She could so imagine Stacey squealing and running around to look at things, and annoyed Nate following her.

“She was the best I could get. And Nate could buy her a lollipop or something to keep her quiet”Kate said and chuckled and then went to her office. Then Jinny came over to CD’s desk.

“Who is THAT creature?” Jinny asked CD pointing to Stacey.

“Nate’s new partner”CD said with a giggle.

“No way! I can’t wait to see his face when he hears that.”Jin was laughing hard.

“Yeah, I know. Hey, you wanna go to get something to eat? I’m starving!”CD stood up and took her jacket.

“Sure”Jin answered and they both left. On their way to the Anchorside, they met Nate and Raina, who decided to join them.

“CD is everything ok?” Nate asked as they were sitting at the table in the bar.

“Sure, everything’s just great!” CD answered and looked at Jin, and they both giggled.

“Um, ok. I just thought that you are somehow, very happy.” He looked at them suspiciously . Then he suddenly remembered something and ran out of the bar telling that he would be back in a minute. When he came back he had a huge grin on his face and he was holding something in his hand.

“What do you have there?” CD asked between the bites. Then Nate handed her the baby’s creeper. There was written “Daddy’s baby” on them.

“Awwwwww……”CD,Jinny and Raina said at the same time.

“That’s so sweet Nate. I love you so much” CD stood up and kissed Nate passionately. Nate kissed her back and deepened the kiss and a moment later they were making out. Jinny and Raina coughed a few times, but CD and Nate didn’t stop.

“This place is so great!!!”

CD stopped kissing Nate and looked at the person who was standing in front of their table. It was Stacey.

“Oh hey Jin, hey CD.”she waved “and who are these people?” she gave Nate and Raina a sweet smile.

“This is Raina and this is Nate, my boyfriend. And they are cops too” Raina and Nate said theis hello’s to Stacey and then she decided to join the four cops and sat down at their table.

“By the way, honey. Stacey is your new partner”CD said trying to hide her grin. Nate froze for a second.

“I….but i…..i thought my new partner was Raina” he looked at CD, and she could see despair in his eyes.

“So YOU are my new partner?! This is SO cool!” Stacey was so excited that she would be working with Nate and that she would be able to watch his sexy ass all the time. She found Nate very attractive, but she knew that he was CD’s property and she knew that if she tried to seduce Nate, CD would kick her ass, so she decided to only watch.

“Sure it is”Nate snorted and continued to eat.

Nate entered his and CD’s apartment late in the evening and went straight to the kitchen because he smelled food.

“Hey gorgeous”he said as he wrapped his hands around CD’s waist and kissed her neck.

“Hey” CD turned around and kissed Nate on the lips.

“What smells here so good?” Nate asked and went to sit down.

“Food” CD smiled and got back to making dinner. Ten minutes later they started eating, and after dinner Nate told CD to go and have a rest and he offered to do the dishes. After everything was done, Nate joined CD on the couch. He wrapped his hands around her and she put her head on his shoulder.

“She’s killing me”Nate stated and sighed. CD looked at him and asked:

“Who?”

“Stacey of the candyland( yeah, I know that the ‘candyland’ was Tara’s idea, but I decided to borrow that. I hope you don’t mind Tara:D). Her enthusiasm about…about everything!!! She’s like a little kid.She’s driving me nuts!!! I have to keep stopping myself from killing her everyday! I’m gonna jump the cliff if I have to work with her for one more day!” when Nate stopped talking he realized CD was laughing. He rolled his eyes at her.

“Awwww, poor Nate. Don’t worry, you’ll survive this. Besides once this little one is out of my belly, I’ll be your partner again” she smiled and patted her belly “and you can’t jump the cliff, because I need someone to pay for the baby’s college when it has to go to it” she smiled devilishly.

“So THAT is what you need me for?! I can’t believe it! And here I was--- “ Nate’s speech was cut off my CD’s lips on his mouth. When they stopped kissing CD stood up and threw her sweetest smile at Nate.

“Why don’t you show me what a MAN you are” she said in a husky voice while running her hand down her body. Nate didn’t need to be told twice…..;)

Kate was sleeping in her bed when her phone rang.’Who the hell could that be?’ she thought.

“McCafferty” she answered the phone.

“Sorry for waking you up at this time of the nigh, Captain McCafferty. This is Captain Lawrence. There is a problem with one of your officers” Captain Lawrence explained everything to Kate and Kate rushed to the Captain Lawrence’s division.

“Hello Captain”Kate said when she entered the division.

“Hello. Do you wanna see her?” asked Captain Lawrence.

“Yes I do” Kate answered and was led to the interrogation room. When Kate entered it, she saw Stacey sitting at the table. When she saw Kate, she said ’hello’ quietly and lowered her eyes.

“Is it true Reynolds?” Kate asked as she sat down.Stacey just nodded her head.

“I see……but why?” Kate couldn’t understand why Stacey did that.

“I needed money. That’s why” Stacey started sobbing “Captain, what’s gonna happen to me? I don’t wanna go to jail!”

“You know what’s gonna happen to you Reynolds. And the fact that you are the cop is not gonna help your case. And I’m not gonna help you either. You’re on your own Stacey. Oh, and you’re fired!” and with that Kate left.

The next morning Nate and CD entered the division and were surprised to see that Stacey was not there.

“Basso! In my office! Now!” Kate said and went to her office. Nate looked at CD.They both were a little worried, because Kate seemed to be very serious. Nate kissed CD on the cheek and went to Cap.’s office.

“Good morning Cap. What did you need me for?” Nate sat down.

“Just lo let you know that you have a new partner. It’s Raina” Kate said with a little smile on her face.

“That’s great! I know that I deserve a better partner that Raina, but anyone’s better than Stacey. By the way, what happened to her?” Nate was grinning from ear to ear.

“She doesn’t work here anymore. Last night a Captain from another division called me and told, that they arrested Stacey.”

“What? Why?”

“Well, she was working as a hooker and she offered her, um….services to a cop, and he arrested her” she explained.

“No way!”

“I’m serious Inspector.....as the matter of fact,I never liked that girl”Kate grinned a little and then let Nate go. Nate left Kate’s office and went to CD’s desk.

“She’s gone!”he exclaimed.

“What? Who’s gone?”CD was confused.

“Stacey. Last night she was arrested for working as a hooker, and now I’ve got a new partner. Raina”he said happily and passionately kissed CD. Then he saw Raina entering the division and went to talk to her.


Lunch time rolled around and CD went to Nate to ask him to have lunch with her, but he refused, saying that he had something important to do, so CD went to Anchorside with Raina and Jinny.

After lunch they got back to the division and CD went to look for Nate, but she couldn’t find him anywhere. She was worried about him, but Jinny said that he would come back soon, so CD got back to her work.

An hour later, Nate still wasn’t there and he didn’t answer his cell, so everyone was worried.

“Excuse me, where could I find Cap. McCafferty?” a man asked CD.

“I am Captain McCafferty” said Kate. “How can I help you?”

“I’m Inspector Newland. Does Inspector Nathan Basso work here?”

“Yes he does. Why?” Kate was very worried.

“He had a car accident and---”Inspector was interrupted.

“Oh my god! Is he ok?!” CD asked. Her eyes got teary. She couldn’t even think about losing Nate.

“I’m afraid he’s not. I’m very sorry, but he is dead.”

“Oh my god! Is he ok?!” CD asked. Her eyes got teary. She couldn’t even think about losing Nate.

“I’m afraid he’s not. I’m very sorry, but he is dead.”

“N..n..no”CD whispered as tears started rolling down her cheeks.She couldn’t believe that Nate was dead.A minute sgo she thought that her happiness would last forever and now her world and her heart were torn apart.

“How”Kate stammered. She was shocked by the news.

“Apparently Inspector Basso was driving too fast and he couldn’t control his car and had an accident. We couldn’t really recognize him, because his face had been disfigured, but it was his car, and we found his ID. We haven’t contacted his family yet. Maybe you would like to do that, since you knew inspector Basso”the inspector said.

Kate and CD couln’t say a word, so they just nodded.

Inspector Newland left and CD slumped in her chair crying uncontrollably. Kate hugged CD and tried to confort her, but she had tears in her eyes as well. At that moment the door opened and Nate entered the division. He saw CD and Kate crying and thought that something wrong had happened. He ran to the women.

“What’s wrong?” he asked as he kneeled in front of CD. CD and Kate stared at him, shocked. They couldn’t believe their eyes that Nate was right there, alive. CD threw her hands around his neck, holding tight on him, and started crying even harder, But this time it was because she was happy.

“Oh my god! I love you! I love you so much Nate. God I love you! Don’t ever leave me!” she said sobbing. Nate was confused, but said nothing and held crying CD in his arms. When CD calmed down Nate let go fo her and asked:

“What’s going on here? Why were you two crying?”

CD didn’t answer at first , she just smiled at him and kissed him like there was no tomorrow. Then she and Kate explained everything to him. Nate was stunned.

“I can’t believe it! My car was stoled this afternoon, and so was my wallet with my ID in it. And those stupid cops told you I was dead before they were sure about that. CD, I promised you that I will never leave you and my baby, and you know that I never break my promises. I love you” he put his arms around her and sighed.

“I’ll talk to those cops. And I’m glad you’re…um, alive” Kate laughed and hugged Nate” And now, since you rose from the dead, I think you two can take a day off. Or….should I say the THREE of you?”Kate smiled and patted CD’s belly” I’ll take care of everything, and you can..um, dowhatever you want to do. See ya tomorrow. Bye.” Kate said and went to her office.Nate looked at CD and asked her what she would like to do.

“I’d like to go home now and make love to you till the dawn.

“Till the dawn?! But it’s only 3pm”Nate pouted. CD just laughed and dragged him out of the division.

When they got to Nate’s place, CD didn’t waste any time and started kissing and undressing Nate immediately. Nate didn’t complain and a few minutes later all the clothes were lying on the floor and CD and Nate were on the bed.

After hours of lovemaking CD and Nate were exshausted. They just lay in each others arms, talking.

“I was thinking today….would you like to buy a house?”Nate asked CD.

“A house? As in…a HOUSE house?” CD was a little stunned. She and Nate started living together and now he was talking about buying a house together.

“Yeah, you know. Like, a house with windows, doors, yard. You know, that kind of a house” he smiled.

“Um, I don’t know Nate. We started dating not a long time ago, and I’m not sure if I’m ready for that. I mean, it’s a big responsibility.”

“What?! We are having a baby together and you say that buying a house is a big responsibility?!”Nate laughed and CD elbowed him lightly.

“I guess you’re right. Maybe we should start looking for a house” CD smiled.

“And our house has to have a big yard, so Mary Kate and her sisters and brothers would have a place to play”Nate put his arm around her belly.

“Mary Kate? Why are you so sure it’s a girl? And what do you mean her brothers and sisters? We’ve already talked about that. We’re NOT gonna have 6 kids. And that’s that!”

“Why not?”Nate pouted. He’ve always wanted to have a big family.

“Because I say so. And we can talk about that another time, because now I’m hungry. Could you make a dinner, sweetie?” she made her puppy face that Nate couldn’t resist,so he got up and went to make something to eat.

CD and Nate sat in the hospital, waiting for the appointment with the doctor. Nate was grinning like an idiot, because that day the doctor had to tell them the gender of the baby.Nate was pretty sure it was a girl, but he wanted the doctor to confirm that.

“Candace DeLorenzo, you can come in” the nurse said.

CD and Nate stood up and went to the doctor’s office. They said hello to the doctor and sat down. The doctor asked CD a couple of questions and then told her to lie down.

“It’s cold”CD pouted as the doctor put some gel on her belly. Seconds later CD and Nate saw their 13 weeks old baby in the monitor. Nate squeezed CD’s hand and smiled at her. CD looked at him, and she was surprised when she saw tears in Nate’s eyes.

“The baby is healthy, so do you wanna know if it’s a boy or a girl?the doctor asked.

CD and Nate just nooded.They were so mesmerized by the view of their baby that they couldn’t speak.

“Ok….it looks like you have a little girl in your belly,CD.”

“Awww…we’re having a girl.I’m so happy. I love you CD”Nate gave CD a long passionate kiss.

“Hey hey,no making out in my office, please”the doctor laughed.

CD and Nate looked at her sheepishly and CD got off the table.

“Ok,CD. You and the baby are just fine, so you have to take your vitamins and not to overdo in your job.”

“Don’t worry doc. I’ll take care of them”Nate put his hand on CD’s belly and CD snorted at his words.

“I can take care of myself and my baby”she muttered. Nate sometimes pissed her off, because he was so overprotective over her, but deep down in her heart she knew that she liked it when Nate was taking care of her and their baby.

“I knew it! I KNEW it was a girl!”Nate exclaimed when they left the office. CD rolled her eyes.

“Ok,you were right.So, what are we gonna do now? We have all day off”

“Whatever you two want to do ”Nate grinned.

“We two?”CD was a little confused.

“Yeah, you and Mary Kate”Nate put his hand on CD’s belly and smiled lovingly.

“Ohhhh,ok. Why don’t we go and eat and then we can start looking for a house. I already called the realtor”CD smiled.

“You..you did?! I mean, yeah, we talked about buying a house, but so soon?”Nate was stunned.

“Yes, so soon. We should buy a house before the baby is born. Because I don’t want to move in the house and take care of the baby at the same time.It would be too hard.”CD said. Nate agreed with her and they went to the little cafe to have lunch.


After lunch, CD and Nate met the realtor. She talked to them and then said, that there were a couple of houses that they might like. All three went to have at the houses, but Nate and CD didn’t like neither of the houses.So they arranged to meet the realtor when she’d have more houses to offer.

~~~~A few weeks later~~~~


“Who the hell calls at this time of the morning?”CD growled when the phone rang and woke her up. Nate answered it and a few minutes later came in the bedroom.

“Hey beautiful”he smiled and kissed CD.

“Who called?”she asked when they broke the kiss.

“Our realtor.There is a house for us. So you have to get up”he started dragging CD out of the bed.

“Ok,fiiiiine,I’ll get up. And stop dragging me!”CD got out of the bed and went to the shower.

An hour later they were in the car.
“I like this place. It would be perfect to raise our kids in here”Nate stated as they were driving down the street where the house was.

“Oh my god! CD! That’s the house! It’s the house of my dreams!”Nate exclaimed when he saw the house. They got out of the car and the realtor started showing them around the house. Nate loved everything about it. It had four bedrooms, a big yard, and white picket fence around it. CD liked the house as well, so they decided to buy it.

AAAAAAWWWWWWWW! I like that name, it sounds so familiar. Hopefully by the time Mary Kate is born ppl wont still be making Mary Kate Olsen jokes. And I agree with Tara, post more soon, and don't take forever doing it! :) ;) :)
