JUST SAW SHERRIE AUSTIN, PIPA'S VIDEO....SHE IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL...AMAZING THE DIFFERENCE OF 10 OR MORE YEARS...JUST LIKE NANCY, ACTUALLY, IN THE VIDEO, THERE IS A SIMILAR QUALITY ABOUT THEM, BUT IT COULD B BECAUSE THEY BOTH HAVE THE DARK HAIR, ETC....SHE SINGS "JOLENE" WRITTEN BY DOLLY PARTON...

I had heard some of Sherrie austin's songs before, but I had no idea she was the one singing Jolene.

Get this, I'm channel surfin' and flick past the Grand Old Opry (don't ask me where it was I don't know -- I'd never noticed it before <grin> ) and there's *Pippa* chatting with country music veteran Whisperin' Bill Anderson. (I know who he is 'cos my Grandmother always liked him)

So, I'm staring at the TV and shaking my head. Then they start talking about her accent and Australia and stuff and it just cracked me up. Who knew?

How 'bout that bunch from the Facts? They all went in different directions but they all seemed to find success and happiness after the sitcom. Good for them!

As a country music fan, I am very familiar
with Sherrie'(Pippa) Austin's music. Her new CD, Followin' A Feelin', is awesome, in particular "Somethin' Missin' In The Kissin'", and "Back Where I Belong". She has done a lot of great songs "Little Bird", "Dreaming Out Loud", "I Want To Fall In Love So Bad It Hurts", " Lucky In Love", "Put Your Heart Into It" to name a few. She is very much in the Shania Twain, Patty Loveless style of singing. But she is branching out into George Strait/ Brooks And Dunn style Texas Swing Music, with "Somethin' Missin' In The Kissin'", and doing a great job with it. One more thing, her season as Pippa, paid for the vocal lessons with Dolly Parton's and Emmy Lou Harris's vocal coaches. If they do a "Facts" reunion movie, lets include her singing it.
