There is a movie from the '40's that I have seen once or twice that stars Veronica Lake (I think), in which she is a witch married to a mortal. They have a little girl also, with witchcraft powers, who is about seven. I can't remember the name of it, though. Has anyone seen it? It's a pretty good movie.
