GOD i HATE HER!!! I hate her with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns! I have seen those episodes tons of times but she always gets to me.....Janet Eldrigde should be..... exiled!


....but these episodes are also one of the funniest...i love the scene when Diane shoots a watergun at sam...haha

I KNOW!!I hope my clock wakes me up so I can watch part 2 tonight.

She was great because she could match wits with Diane and was a true challenge.

:lol: That lady was bugging me because she looked so familiar, but I couldn't remember where I'd seen her...Finally I had to do a search on her and found out that she'd been in the movie "Camp Nowhere"...

She also starred in Star Trek: Voyager.

and Carla hated her...

But you know what, Janet eldridge was one thing Diane was not...vindictive....but then again she WAS honest.

Still though....I feel so bad when that guy fleener goes "that was my last chance" and Diane stares at the screen and goes "me 2"

and every time they make out or kiss in front of her...she puts on this face that makes me want to cry and kick the living begeezus out of Janet!!

One part of the episode was on this morning, and I saw a bit of it right before I left for school, but I had to tape it! I'm actually about to watch it right now!

I hate the part when Janet says, "I guess you were wrong about Sam and I." Then Diane says, "Sam and me," and Janet says, "That, too." Ooooh...I wanted to pop her one...just like Diane did!

One of my favorite lines, though, was when Diane says, "Frasier, have you been telling people I had a sex-change operation, again?"

Oh that was a great ep.! Diane HATED it! HAHAH Oh poor poor Diane i's hard to feel sorry for her though I mean they did break up. They were free to date other people!

I must disagree. Not about Sammy's playboy life, but about the fact that he and Diane didn't belong together. I think the whole message of Cheers during the Diane Years was that when people are in a totally new environment, they have to change, and I think Diane and Sam changed considerably when they came into each others lives.

are you :cuckoo ? lol if Shelley would have never left the show, I can bet you ANYTHING that they would have married them off. Marriage +Sam& Diane = MAJOR Comedy...lol at least in my opinion

I dont think they would've gotten married at the end of the 5th season though....

It's like with Frasier and the whole Niles loves Daphne.... but she has NO clue thing. That had to bring the show's biggest laughs.... and when there were no more laughs to get from it.... they did the only thing they could. And married them.


I think Sam and Diane would stay engaged for a couple of years if she stayed on the show. And then the finale would be them getting married.
