Well, I've been reading this board for a few days, and I decided maybe I would post something too! I'm 16 and a guy, and I'm the only person my age that I know of that likes FOL. I see alot about Jo, and I see someone who complained about "too much Nancy"! Jo is one of my favorites, they're all my favorite in some way, but I think Blair has to be my all time favorite.

I love it when her and Jo fight, and I love it when she's got some funny comment. So, I'd like to have others post and say what they think of Blair, likes and dislikes.

Nancy McKeon is #1!!

Welcome to the board! My fav character is Jo. Nancy McKeon is well just my fav ever. Actress that is. She plays Jo if you did not know. Nancy McKeon has a show on Lifetime called The Division. It comes on Sunday at 9:00Pm eastern time. The same episode comes on Fridays at 11:00PM ET. Actually that is Eastern and Pacific. It is a great show!
Oh and Nancy McKeon plays Jinny.

Welcome aboard Blair is the best!!
I think Blair is awesome too, for her comebacks when fighting with Jo, or just being typical Blair. But then there is that side of her that we see that is kind and caring, like at the end of FOL Goes to Paris, when she gets Jo out of explaining to everyone about leaving David, her new love from Paris. We see the bond with her and Jo in Magnificent Obsession, and especially in Less Than Perfect. Also the way she stands up for Jo when they graduated from Langley in Rights of Passage, and Blair wiping away tears when Jo left for California.

Let's see, about your question...
What's so neat about the character of Blair is that even though she's a brat -- she's got a good heart. Just when you think she's completely self-involved and clueless, she turns on a dime and does the right thing. It makes for some darn funny situations along the way, too.
