Hi All,
My first post here. I found a new Ozzie and Harriet 2 dvd set at my Walmart yesterday. Its from Platinum Corp. and contains 20 episodes on 2 dvds.
There is also an additional collection of 20 more episodes on another 2 dvd set from Platinum.
The episodes appear to be uncut, they are all b&w. Some of these episodes were filmed in color but are b&w on the discs.
The quality is not very good. Some episodes look better than others but even the best shows look like second or third generation Vhs tapes.
It's still a pretty good value for fans of the series at $5.88. If you buy both sets thats a total of 40 episodes for about $12.
I still wish we could see a first rate release of this classic show on Dvd someday. It is certainly deserving of much better treatment than its getting on Dvd these days.

ITA I wish they had first rate production of these shows, but even the originals weren't that way. The guy operating the controls didn't know what he was doing, so only the episodes shown in LA were fixed to look perfect. If they could find those tapes, it would be great. Thanks for the info; have to go to Wal-Mart now!

I agree, with all the tv shows coming out on Dvd these days you would think someone would put together a really good quality package of Ozzie and Harriet, season box sets would be great!
I hope you have good luck finding the set i mentioned that i found at Wal-Mart, let me know what you think of it.
