I really would like to know how to resize pictures to make them small enough for your avatar. The picture I have now looks like crap and I want it to look nicer. When you have a larger picture what do you use to make it the right size? I have never figure that out. A few times I've had some SO members resize the pictures for me, but I would like to learn how to do it myself. Thanks!

I use Adobe Photoshop. I just click on Image > Image Size > and put in my desired width and height.

Actually, I just found a program to use and as you can see by my avatar pic now, it worked!:) I tried dl-ing adobe photoshop but it won't work on my computer. I used this thing called picture play instead. It's just a free trial now, but it worked! Thanks, anyway!

paint for adobe or another program? You see, I have a Mac computer, so I'm a little limited.

Yeah, I do have a paint program, but it won't work for what I want to do, but like I said, I found something and it works. Thanks!

I used Paint to shrink up the image and I would save it on my computer.
