When you first bring home the DVD, which episode are you going to watch first? What all will you do that first day?
For me, I'll have a pizza party with my older sister who was there with me on March 21, 1995 as we watched the series debut on NBC together. After the pilot, I'll skip to the second season. Probably the later episodes of the second season. Because I've seen the first season and first half of the second season uncut already. So I want to see the others uncut. Episode 21-28. I'm still upset about "Injury" not being included, but as long as it comes with season three, I'll only be upset until that season's release. And really, it's hard to get upset. This is such a great thing that's happening.:)

as soon as it comes out im at the store buying it and then when i get home, ill probably get some popcorn, turn off the lights, put newsradio on and let the good times roll. i will probably just watch the whole thing through, all of S1 and all of S2 . its going to be sooo good. i am very excited. newsradio dvd comes out on maura tierney's birthday (feb.03) coincidence? i think so.
(thats what i did for ER season 1 dvd, i bought it the day it came out, and went home and watched it, took me about 2 and a half days to watch it all, because i had to sleep eat and move around a little bit... but that was in the summer, so now i have to work school into my schedule... i guess im just going to cut out sleeping and homework.. oh well! ) aha

Here's what I'm going to do when the DVD comes out (Oh, what a blessed day it will be!)
First, I'm going to somehow find a way to actually get it on February 3rd. I don't even have a driver's license, so the only way I can get it is to hope a family member goes to Wal-Mart that day. Or I could always order them to do it, but I doubt they'd pay any attention. :)
Secondly, I'm a university student, which means the chances of me having time to watch all 28 episodes at one time is literally nil. In fact, I'm lucky if I even have time to watch one episode a day on VHS. Plus, I don't even have my own DVD player, so I'd have to use the family's DVD player and take the TV away from my mom, who won't be very happy about that. :) So what I'll probably do is watch one episode every day when I get home from school until I've watched all 28. Then I'll start over again, and keep watching one a day until season 3 comes out, then I'll just incorporate season three into my daily schedule until season 4 comes out, and on and on. But of course, by the time season 4 comes out I'll be in law school...and then I really won't have time to watch tv. The horror!!
So yeah, that's my unfortunate tragedy surrounding the release of the Newsradio DVD. My only other alternative is to just watch them all at once and let my studies suffer -- which really is rather tempting. :)

NewsRadio DVD marathon? Absolutely! I'm going to watch 'em straight thru with pizza and soda! :-) Believe me, Sony won't be able to release seasons 3-5 soon enough! In the words of Bill McNeal: "Good times, good times..."
