Has anyone here also seen a Simpsons eppy when Homer orders a swimming pool for his backyard? Let me tell you, the funniest part is when Bart was about to dive from his treehouse, Nelson said that Bart's "epidermis" is showing, then Bart took a great fall on the grass.

"...you see, epidermis means your hair."

Epidermis actually means your skin.

That's just what Nelson says while Bart falls to the ground.

Some parts contained the infamous murder scene from Ned Flanders. The kids thought Ned killed Maude.

Milhouse: Nelson...I think he's really hurt.

Nelson: I SAID ha-ha.

That was a funny episode. I don't think we've ever seen their pool again. Same with their tennis court.

How about when Homer and Marge skinny-dip at night? Then Chief Wiggum watches the scene in his helicopter, but the Simpsons thought they were being caught skinny-dipping.

Then Bart and Lisa enter the Flanders' house and try to stop Ned from murdering, but the kids try to hide in Ned's attic. The kids thought Ned was about to kill them but Ned came up to the attic just to put the axe away. Bart had a lot of things stuck to his broken leg.

I didn't get the joke until I read up on movies years later. That was a spoof of the famous Alfred Hitchcock movie "Rear Window", in which a wheelchair-bound man played by James Stewart spies on his neighbors with a telescope and sees what appears to be a murder committed. The movie also starred Grace Kelly and Raymond Burr from TV's Perry Mason and Ironside.
