NewsRadio - A show in the 1990s set at a New York City radio station.

Mister Ed - A show in the 1960s about a man, his wife and his talking horse.

Both are favorites of mine.

Roseanne and Friends, totally opposites shows. Roseanne personally hated the show Friends. In one episode from the 9th season Roseanne makes some mean jokes about the show.

I don't, The character of John Becker is the exact opposite of Sam Malone. There's less people involved.....um none of the characters really are like the Cheers cast....so how is it like Cheers?

It's hard to explain. I guess because of the diner. Both shows have sort of hangout. I also find the writing and humor to be similar. It's just my opinion though.

hmmm I guess I could see how you would find them similar. it's also a workplace sitcom...well sort of.

Threes Company and Friends

I like Friends and Roseanne the same but Threes Company is my all time favorite.
