If you had a choice which one are you most comfortable with?

Being on the beach relaxing and sunbathing with the ocean nearby......

OR

Being surrounded by the mountains/woods/forrests/Parkland?

I live by the beach. I never go sunbathing or swimming there though. I love the sound of the ocean crashing on the shoreline, and the big, big horizon. I love the openess of it; whenever I am inland for more than a few days I start to miss it and feel a bit landlocked.

However, probably because I live here, I really do like to go up into woodsy areas. There is something very peaceful to me about the sounds of wooded areas. The sound of brooks, birds, and especially of wind blowing through the trees is quite calming to me.

I like both, but I would pick mountains.

I like them both but probably the mountains a little better.

I know its odd for me to say this cause I"m TERRIFIED of Water but I go with the Beach but its gotta be A WARM BEACH not a cold one here in Oregon

Actually I prefer the beach but not the ocean. I like the lake. Before we moved, we lived close to Lake Michigan.

That is such a hard choice. They both give me a different feeling.

The Beach
takes me away and gives me a feeling like im free and no worries. The sound of the waves and the wind makes me feel refreshed. It's also very romantic. :love:

The Mountains
Make me feel at one with nature. It makes me realize just how small we as humans really are. It also makes me feel free and refreshed. It's quiet unless the wind is up and it's so beautiful to see the sun set against the mountain side.

Beach. but it depends on what beach. I live 3 mins from a beach(walking distance), but its a pos. People just go there to blaze or shoot up and to have sex. But nice beaches are sweet.

I'd say mountains.

I prefer the beach. I love the Atlantic ocean and the Long Island Sound. Went there alot before we moved.

I was never a beach person. Yeah, that's blasphemy for a Jersey guy to say, but I never liked beach life.

Give me Central Park any day.

I'd bike in the park every day if I could.

Neither.

I love both, but I like the beach a little more. I've loved the beach since I was little. But then again, sometimes it's just great to take a hike, being alone, with nature. It's very calming to me.
