Are there any plans to release reality shows like "Survivor" or "The Amazing Race" on DVD in season sets??

The only one I'd love to see on DVD (but I'm not holding my breath) is THE MOLE (hands down, the classiest reality show of the bunch!).

First of all, THE REAL WORLD and ROAD RULES are the REAL granddaddies of all reality shows, both of which were on long before Survivor.

As far as Survivor being the CLASSIEST reality show, don't even get me started!!!

Best of all, the first season of THE MOLE is coming out on DVD on March 8, so good things indeed come to those who wait! Now if only some network (other than ABC, whose utterly indifferent and inept promotion all but killed the program) can see some potential in bringing THE MOLE back with regular people contestants and (dare we dream???) Anderson Cooper as host, I would be eternally grateful!!!

Although I like them, I wouldn't purchase:
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition nor Wife Swap, although I would probably get Boss Swap, provided that it actually becomes a series (which is doubtful, but I hope they have more "Boss" episodes of Wife Swap)

Season 1 is the best... I didn't watch it in the original run anyway(although I remember the finale), and it's great. I've got most of Season 2 on VHS. I got hooked on the 2nd episode when Bradford stupidly gave up his exemption.

my #1 reality show is The Amazing Race, then American Idol, then Big Brother. Curious to see how will the next season of Amazing Race - Family Edition will turn out.

I'm happy to have all seasons of The Amazing Race, American Idol and Big Brother on DVDs.

I don't think i would get reality shows on dvd. There just not the type of thing to get over again. If I did I would get Big brother seasons 1-3 because I never saw them and survivor season one because I didn't see it. I also might get survivor Australia because I really liked that.

Survivor: Borneo (if you've never seen it, get it...it's still the best season)
Survivor: The Australian Outback (second best season)
Survivor All Stars (great bonus features on an underrated season)
The Mole: The Complete First Season (one of the best reality shows ever)
The Apprentice: The Complete First Season (definitely the best season)

Getting soon:
The Amazing Race: The First Season (9/27--haven't seen it yet)
Survivor: Pearl Islands (December--a fantastic season)

And I'll buy any future Survivor, Amazing Race, Apprentice, non-celebrity Mole, and Contender releases.

Just a question for those who won't buy reality shows on DVD...how is it any different than buying a sitcom/drama that you've already seen and know what happens?

Does anyone know if BB6 is going to be released on DVD? I think it's only been Season 2 so far, right? I still need more of the Beefcake Howie and Jedi Janey.

Don't know about BB6, but it was BB3 that had the full season release. That was the one where Lisa beat Danielle in the finals.

I don't get reality shows on dvd. There the kind of think you just watch ones. If I did I might get a season of a show before I started watching it. Or I would get Big Brother 6 since I liked it so much.
