That exact same couch was used in an episode of Sanford and Son 2 years before Three's Company started on ABC. Couldn't believe my eyes. And to make sure I was right, I watched that episode of S&S over and over and watch a TC episode to be sure and yes it's the same couch.

THe couch wasn't in FRed Sanford's house, it was in his son's girlfriend apartment.
