Who's seen this movie? We watched it today in Spanish class. I was blown away by what a good movie it was, especially at the end when Homer won the National Science Fair.

Although I must say, the best part is that the whole thing is true. At the end when they say what really happened, especially how the Rocket Boys all graduated from college, Homer went to work for NASA, then Elsie finally got to Murtle Beach, wow. It was just great.

I think we watched that in 8th grade before graduation. It sounds familiar. But I don't remember it...hmm/

I saw it in one of my science classes. I didnt think I was going to like it, but I thought it was really good.

I saw it when on video a few years ago. I remember just loving it. I don't recall the cast really....Chris Cooper plays the father?

The only cast member that I think I remember is Laura Dern. She was in it wasn't she?:confused: (the teacher maybe?)

That was the best movie I've ever been forced to watch in Science class.
