Mike was being such a jerk during the first day of school .. he was supposed to be going with this girl to the back to school dance, and then later on had to fake a broken leg just because he saw this other girl and wanted to go to the dance with her instead. But surely he learned his lesson when she turned him down.. that's what you get Mike!:lol:

I just hate Mike sometimes .. he lied to his parents and didn't even feel bad one bit about it .. he feels like he can go through everything with just grins and smirks ..

i hate that too about Mike. I think he really is a jerk, and it's not fair that in the reunion movie, he is the one who is successful.

Im thinking Mike being in Advertising is just an ode to his teenage personality --- advertisers are often considered to be BS artists

But Ben wasn't stupid, he should have got a better job in the movie.

When you guys said you hate mike or think he's a jerk, do you mean the mike character, or kirk cameron? Cause i really like kirk cameron. I think the drug show was really good, because mike was actually acting responsible, and the message kirk said during the end of the show. I heard they recieved either 1,000 or 10,000 letters after the show was over, that show was called "Thank God It's Friday". Anyone see it?

i didn't like much Mike, neither did I like much Kirk. He was in constant conflict with the cast members and he made Julie McCullough get fired just because she had posed in Playboy...:eek:

i hated julie, i think kate (chelsea noble) was a better girlfriend to mike.

Why is everyone so down on kirk cameron, he is a great guy now. we shouldn't judge anyone. we don't know all the facts. And besides he has said he that he made mistakes because he young and was dealing with a lot of pressure of the fame and all that. He was very confused at that age. I was reading a magazine article where he said he specifically appoligized to everyone at the first reunion about anything that may have been a mistake. I think that takes a lot of courage to admit that you screwed up and ask for forgiveness. And who among us has not done something we wish we could take back. Even the producers have said kirk had nothing to do with getting that girl fired. And everyone forgave him if they can why can't anyone else. water under the bridge.

i never said i was do down on kirk, he very, very much my favorite actor.

i read that article too, in the Christian Reader magazine, i think it said The Rebirth Of Kirk Cameron, how the teen heartthrob left his ego behind. Kirk is very very much my fave actor, just to let you know so i dont hate kirk.
