Does anyone have episodes of the original TV series of 'Fame'- preferably episodes with some of the people from the movie- Irene Cara, Gene Anthony Ray etc. Also- does anyone have episodes of the other Fame show- Fame L.A.?

Irene Cara wasn't part of the tv show, her Coco character was played by Erica Gimpel on the series. If I remember correctly, aside from some of the teachers, the only ones who went from the movie to the show were Gene Anthony Ray and Lee Curreri. I might have some episodes from later syndicated seasons, I have to check.

I read on a Yahoo group for Fame fans that season one on DVD may be in the works. The owner of the group is in contact with several of the cast members and Lee Curreri, who was one of the stars and wrote a lot of the music, was contacted about licensing. She does not have an approximate date for when they might be available, but I'm excited about the possibility.
