Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone

The box office blockbuster makes its network broadcast premiere on ABC. On his 11th birthday, young Harry Potter discovers the life he never knew he had, the life of a wizard. In his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he meets his two best friends Ron Weasley, an expert at Wizard Chess, and Hermione Granger, a girl with non-magic parents. Cast Away airs on CITY- TV in Toronto this Sunday at 8:00PM. Those who are lucky enough to own a High- Defination TV, can also listen to an audio commentary by Robert Zemeckis. :)

the first Harry Potter wraps up it's initial HBO run (tho they'll show it again in a few years) in January, since they have a 14 month clause with every movie they air. But they all eventually get shown on HBO again, just takes it a few years, because after it airs on HBO, then it goes to network tv and/or USA, TBS, FX, etc..

It doesn't seem like it's been that long since it came out! Time is just flying by...

This will be cool! Let's hope that they only edit the films as minimally as possible. If there is one thing broadcast networks are known for, it is ludicrusly dubbing in the offensive langange that has been removed.

Movies are ruined on broadcast TV. The fact that they have commercial breaks every five minutes makes me want to puke. It's disgusting!:barf:

I'll stick with premium channels and TCM.

Those movies are great. I'm definately not missing Forrest Gump.

I have almost all of those movies on tape and they are so, so, good!!

I have every movie on tape since it was copied off of TV when it was either on cable or broadcast TV that has commercials on it and I don't care for it. I'll stick with the DVD's and premium channels like HBO, Showtime, etc.
