Hi all,
Have been reading with great interest about all of the copyright enforcement happening. I would recommend to everyone who has websites to simply post a listing of your collection and a note saying all email inquiry is welcome. That way, there is no advertisement of sale and you are dealing via email only. Get to know the emailer and point blank ask are you a member of law enforcement or a member of the industry. Also, I recommend trading only as you stay out of the issue all together that way.

The real problem is not in piracy, but it is the idiotic studios who refuse to release more than half the stuff that is being sold and traded. The industry enforces their copyrights for what??? To let the stuff rot in vaults???

The whole thing is idiotic and it sounds from what I read, that the country of Canada is out to lunch as usual, don't they have organized crime and Hell's Angels they should be chasing down up there??

Just an opinion.

I used to have a tape trading site. I never sold any episodes of any shows. I made it very plain that I do not sell tv shows and that I only trade. I pointed out that if someone does ask, I do not answer the person's e-mail. Right now I'm not trading TV shows since I'm going to college and I don't have the time. After all there are more important things in life than tape trading.

True, but it's all the little extras - like tape trading - that make life more enjoyable!

I think if we cant buy the shows we want then its fair trade! I think we should be able to trade so we can get more cartoons/shows! Hey I say if they want us to stop sell them at a reasonable price! I dont buy dvd under 10 bucks unless it a matthew lillard movie!
