Johnny Davis. Well when u are 1-10 your chances of staying employed are THIN-LOL. I don't think the firing has o do with the current record, i think it has a llttle to do with Orlando losing a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Semi finals last year

 So if the Magic were 10-1 instead of 1-10, Doc Rivers would still be fired just because of last years playoffs?? If the playoffs are the reason they let him go, why would they bring him back just to let him go now, when Jeff Van Gundy, Larry Brown, Paul Silas, Rick Carlisle, etc still hadn't yet settled into their new coaching jobs? Just to replace him with Johnny Davis??

I said that He was on THIN ICE for losing a 7 game series after leading it 3-1. So they were looking for big things from the magic and it didn't happen

Forget Chaney being on a lookout, if there's a chance they could bring on Doc Rivers, there'll be 19,763 people at MSG ready to push Chaney out the door. It can't happen soon enough.

Never understood why the Knicks signed Chaney to a contract during the midst of his beginning tenure when they had no idea how good he'd be or what coaches might be available at season's end.

Get him out of there.

I'll take Doc in a heartbeat.

Johnny Davis isn't gonna make Orlando any better cause he was a terrible coach when he coached Philly yrs ago. He had a 22-60 record with them when Iverson was either a rookie or in his 2nd or 3rd yr when Johnny was their coach. Doc shouldn't have been fired. Somebody in management should be fired for those bums they got on the team LOL. T-Mac ain't got no help but Drew Gooden, Juwan Howard, Tyronn Lue. They should've kept Darrell Armstrong & Bo Outlaw. Both of those guys brought energy to the team. They need to waive Grant Hill cause management is wasting their money paying that injury prone bum waitin on him to come back LOL.

If the Hawks continue to struggle, look for them to try and get Doc Rivers as their next coach. It's been talked about in the newspapers here so much, of course he played most of his career here.

Not true. He's been signed on for ABC's coverage with Al Michaels.

Coverage of the NBA, I assume?? I don't remember Al Michaels doing any of ABC's NBA games last season. If that's the case, Doc wont start till after Christmas.
