I've heard of Jackie Gleason songs before. He performed some beautiful dinner music I suppose. I have a few Christmas songs from one of the compilation albums that Capitol put out these great timeless Christmas songs. I have the song "The September Song" by Jackie Gleason from one of the other album complaitons. I saw it on "Biography" a year ago that he recorded his first romantic album "Music for Lover's Only" from 1955. I have to find that record. It could be in one of the flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores. Has anyone listened to these albums by Jackie Gleason yet?

Yes, I have quite a few of Gleason's albums either on vinyl or CD. "Music For Lovers Only" is on Capitol CD #CDP7 48427 2. You might find it on Amazon.com or try collectorschoicemusic.com - It's so great to see that many of his albums are being released on CD....it's about time!!

I have a couple of Jackie Gleason albums on CD and the sound is really beautiful. I still remember the first time I saw a Jackie Gleason album. It was my freshman year at UW-River Falls where I dabbled in campus radio. I saw a Gleason album and thought he would sing on the record. Instead, it was all instrumental.
I still have a few Gleason albums on vinyl, including Music for Lovers Only.

I don't have any Jackie Gleason albums except some Christmas tunes from a number of various artists albums. My stepdad's sister has the Jackie Gleason album called "Music to Remember Her". Check out these eight albums in this pic. Enjoy!
