I remember seeing a reunion episode in one of the later seasons with Sue Ann, Cindy, and Nancy. The thing that confused me is why did they say that they don't know Jo? I can name several episodes when they were together: Ex. The one where Nat gets a bad reputation. The one where Tootie spreads gossip all over school that gets Mrs. Garret in trouble. The one where Tootie didn't want to go on the camping trip, and Jo met Molly in the second episode.

Jo and Nancy were really the only ones who got to know eachother at all in the 2nd season. I never saw Jo talking to Cindy or Sue-Ann in the earlier episodes, and I think that Jo would have forgetten about it if they did.

I think there's a major continuity error there. Sue Ann, Cindy, Nancy, Blair, Jo, and Natalie all helped Tootie stuff envelopes at the end of the gossip episode. And while they weren't on camera as much after season two, you can't tell me that the first season girls wouldn't at least have been acquainted with Jo, since they had three friends in common.

For the reunion episode, it was easier to play the "Jo Feels Left Out" plot if the girls pretended like they didn't know her. In defense of the writers, Blair did say "You remember Jo," when welcoming the three girls to the reunion. But it was silly for Sue Ann to say, "So this is the famous Jo", when she went to the same school as her, and had some of the same friends as her, for at least a year. And Jo seemed pretty well-known around Eastland, especially given the whole incident with the school van and the punishment of working in the cafeteria.

I think that they meant more that they were just acquanted with each other and they didn't have as many experiences as did Blair, Nat and Tootie. So maybe they were just hoping us major fans wouldn't notice, and remember, in the first run it would have been a few years later, and who would figure that we would notice? Dig what I'm sayin?
