Here's something worth pondering. As many of you Honeymoonies know, Jackie Gleason in his Ralph Kramden role yelled and screamed a lot in the many Honeymooners episodes. Would all of the screaming as well as his excess smoking take a major toll on his voice later in life? I noticed in the 60 Minutes interview that his voice sounded creaky.

I wouldn't doubt it. Although I think it had to do alot more with the smoking than anything else. I mean look at Lucille Ball.
