I occasionally search Ebay for "Unsolved Mysteries" and they have an interesting press kit for auction from the 5th season of UM. They have pictures of Robert Stack as well as him with Cosgrove & Meurer and some information on the shows that year as well as biographies of the three. Just thought I would pass it on in case anyone is interested in bidding!
I was going to bid on it, but forgot about it. Fortunately, the eBay seller sold it to me anyway. I had one from 1996 that I got awhile back, this one was from the fall of 1992.
The most interesting part of the presskit are the 34 pages of solved mysteries - solved as a direct result of the program. It lists pretty good summaries and the original airdate for the 116 solved segments (through August 1992). It is very nice to have for reference. I'd love to have one that lists all 300+ solved cases if such a thing exists.
Remember the amnesia victim Tyler who was later identified as Paul Beal? The original update that was aired was that he was wanted on a charge of grand larceny. I don't remember Lifetime airing that part but I do remember the original broadcast update.
