1. To me, its not 'bf or gf' until its official- youre going steady. Other than that, youre 'seeing someone.'

2. Lets see... 0+0= Im starting to get cobwebs and Im all rusty.

I'll answer that when I get the balls to talk to guys. I'm the shyest person in the world and its hurting me badly. :(

1.) I'd prolly call them my bf after we went on a couple dates.

2.) Though I have friends that are guys, I never have dated NE1. We just hang out. Yup. My friend Erin and I just got back from the movies with my friends Andy (whose a member here...but never really posts) and John.

know them? most i'd been friends with for a few months before and then after we decide to make it official. there's no in between and he's got to ask me.

one or two for any length of time, a few others if you count single dates or hanging out a few times

Exactly. To me, I wouldn't go "calling" someone my b/f until he officially asked me out.

I am glad that I was born in 1974 instead of 1984!! Why?? Because I had more angst, anger, and just plain ignorance as a young part-Vietnamese, part-white, female that I hope people born in that era won't experence that I went through all of my life!!

...I don't really understand what that has to do with this thread.

I'd call a guy my boyfriend if he asked me to be his girlfriend.

And I'd just have to know him really well before.
